This place and the people who work for it, make me absolutely sick to my stomach. My boyfriend and I brought in a kitten who was about 7 weeks old and was bleeding from her butt. The vet suggested that the kitten had herpes and wanted to check her for cancer, without even doing an exam. Ive had a kitten with herpes in the past, and the kitten I brought in this day had absolutely no signs of having the herpes virus. Within 5 minutes the vets assistant came back into the room with an estimate of over $200. When we told the vet that we could not afford the leukemia snap shot test, she assured us that everything seemed fine and that the kitten was going to be okay. So, we took her home, and days later we realized something was wrong with the kitten and the bleeding was getting worse. Yesterday, we made the tough decision of taking her to a shelter, so that she could get the medical attention she needed, since we couldnt afford it. We just found out that the kitten had a severe congenital disease, and needed to be euthanized. Our kitten needed medical attention, and since we didnt have the money for procedures that werent even necessary, we were assured that she would be fine, and sent away. You would think that people would seek a job in the medical field to help. Instead, they do it for the money, and turn people away if they cant afford whatever needs to be done.

Last Friday we took a little street bunny to Lone Mountain because he had a sore on his side and I was very worrried. We called the little bunny Bun Bun and he belonged to the street but I had been feeding him since the day I saw his little tiny body with big ears standing in the middle of the road. The receptionist was incredibly caring with me and the vet and her assistant were so gentle and loving of little Bun Bun that I felt they would tell me the best thing to do. Sadly we left little Bun Bun there because there was nothing that could be done for him and the vet would carefully put him to sleep. I was crying so much that my husband had to look after the paper work and when they presented us with the account they had waivered the sleeping fee. I feel that these people cared more for us and our little street bunny than any human medical doctor I have come across in this country. Thank-you for your compassion and caring. I highly recommend your hospital to anyone who cares about their little friends.

I brought my cockatiel in as a walk in emergency. We saw Dr G. Forgot her name but young lady with long red hair. She was so sweet and knowledgeable. I was so scared because my bird was vomiting all pm and I did not have a vet established in my new neighborhood. The staff were incredibly nice and even gave my little one bottled water, as I had removed his water for the drive. The doctor was very helpful and gave me much advice to help me be a better bird mom. She educated me on what could be done and was mindful of my budget. The next day the doctor herself called to check on my bird. I recommend this clinic 100%. They were reasonable. Full exam lots of face time iwith the doc fluids given with wing and nail trim all for less than $100. LOVE THIS CLINIC. If any staff are reading this, thank you with all my heart!

This place and the staff have no heart. All they care about is money. We had a little bunny and it was dying and they kept it in the room, in pain and torture until we payed 300 dollars. Disgusting. All they care about it money. Awful pricing and no heart. We couldnt afford that. And if we just drove off and left they would just leave the rabbit to suffer and die. to put the rabbit to sleep it costed 48 dollars. The rabbit would already die for free. And then they would give us the dead rabbit in a box. What would I do with a dead rabbit? So they also offered a rabbit cremation for the "low" price of 130 dollars. so we had to pay 178 dollars for our rabbit to die. This place is awful. I would never suggest for you to come here. Unnafordable and disgusting excuse for a hospital.

This place seriously pads the bill. They seem to take advantage of people who are loving pet owners and worried about their pets When I declined the additional extras they wanted to charge me for due to financial reason I was asked if I wanted to apply for Care Credit. I didnt even need the extra things they were trying to tack on either, and NO I didnt want Care Credit, why so I can pay interest on extras I was charged for that I didnt need. Its too bad vet places like this dont realize that by padding peoples bills you are taking extra money away from them or when their pet needs to come in again for possibly something more serious, they may not be able to afford to because you up charged them so much the previous visit will try to avoid going here again in the future.

I called to ask for a treatment quote for a snake with mites, and two people refused to give me a price. They said that the vet would have to "examine" the severity of the mites. Knowing how to take care of snakes...I could easily tell that the "epic" 5 mites were not severe, and asked how much 1-2 injections would cost for a non-severe case. Again, I was met with "the vet has to see". Why would I pay $50 for a vet to tell me that its not severe, and then set up another $50 appointment in order to receive treatment (that I still dont know how much costs). I was trying to save myself time from a tedious at-home treatment process, but instead I had to deal with a group of uniformed, and nitwitted people.

When I moved to Las Vegas back in 2012, I had to locate and find a Veterinarian Clinic for Sweetie, my Poodle. I located Lone Mountain Animal Clinic and selected them for their location. From that very first day, I felt very comfortable and safe with their facility and service. The entire staff: Doctors, Clinical Assistants and Front Desk personnel are friendly, courteous, very professional and always helpful. When I received Text Messages from them while my pets (I now have 2 dogs) were boarded at LMAC, I was so surprised, but very happy of their follow-up while I was away. As long as I live in Las Vegas, I will continue to bring my pets to this fantastic clinic!

Our dogs appetite had been lower than usual the last couple of days so I took my dog in for a simple check up and was giving an estimate for $950.00, and was told i would need to leave my dog over night for additional testing. I asked what for, what illness does she have and the vet could not give a straight answer???? UP selling oh yea!!! I told them thanks but no thanks.Glad to say my lil girl Mady was back to her self and with a regular appetite that night. It seems to me its all about the mighty dollar here not pet care as before.I no longer go to this clinic. There have been many changes at this clinic recently. Sad to say but it seems not for the better
