I was a person that never believed in reviews. Until it has happened to me. Front desk people were very rude and the doctors helper was rough coking the dog. The doctor advised that our dog has allergies when in fact she is diagnosed by another doctor that she did not have allergies. Went in for rabies vaccine against my will and knowledge they gave her additional shots that we requested not to do at all then we checked out and they added it to the bill. Can not prove but to the neglectful handling and pulling on the dogs neck and forehead. The next day we found our dog eye out of socket. Dog went through emergency at another vet we were doing a follow up at Banfield and they refused to see her.

Made us see 2 (rude) doctors with conflicting views on what was wrong with the dog, couldnt make up their minds what to do with the dog, eventually concluded it would take us about $600 to keep him at a hospital for a test for days (and they didnt know if they would find a resolution) or put him down, seeing as the dog was so thin and sickly from not finding a resolution, took him to Fox lake animal hospital and they basically did a blood glucose test and a diet to follow, saved him from being put to sleep, he steadied his weight, became more active, and it didnt cost nearly as much as that. Its like theyre money hungry and have no idea what theyre doing.

I normally dont write reviews but I am super annoyed at the staff. Especially Stacie Pajeau, one of the workers there gave out my personal information and my address to her sister. They then came to my house right after I left banfield and stole my boyfriends truck. Who is there ex. I dont know what kind of people they have working here but this is super illegal and I wont not trust them at all. Something needs to be done about this. You do not give out customers information without there consent. I will be filing a police report

My maltese mix has been going to Banfield for over 10 years. They are professional and the veterinarians are very good. Nice people receive great service. Weve always received the best care from the staff and doctors.

Be forewarned, I took my vet in for a simple wellness check and a week later he was very sick. Called them and asked about it and they were quick to rush me off the phone. Dont bring your pet here.
