I had an appointment there today and it was my first time going there. And it will absolutely be the last time I ever step foot in there. I was so disgusted by thr two women at the front desk as I was waiting for them to call my name I almost left but obvioysly we make appointments because we need to see a doctor. The two women, one blonde haired and the other short dark and grey hair, Anna were horiffic. The 30 minutes I was waiting all they did was bash every patient that called or was leaving. They werent even quiet about it. Didnt care that there were 4 of us in the waiting room. When they finally called me up for my insurance card she immediately said no, we cant take this because the primary care doctor isnt us. Mind you this is my first time there so how in the world would this doctors office be my primary care doctor, correct it wouldnt. So I said I have blue cross blue shield can I call them to make sure Im covered since she just immediately was done with me due to my insurance card, she looked at the clock and said well good luck getting anyone. So I called my insurance and they immediately gave approval with an authorization number and she still was rude and said umm no we need a fax. I said are you kidding me my insurance fully covers this visit. She still said umm no sorry i need the fax. So I left to another doctors office right down the street called Presense and they were very helpful, the woman immediately looked up my insuranse and gave me an appointment for Monday and smiled and thanked me, I again thank her for helping me. DONT EVER GO TO CENTRAL MEDICAL CLINIC OF CHICAGO EVER!

I do not recommend! We owe a balance and the lady at the front desk announced it loud enough to for the whole waiting room to hear. Since when do you refuse a patient?? Then she said she would not schedule my family for any future appointments until the balance was paid. This is an issue we are trying to resolve with our insurance company, needless to say everyone at the clinic did not need to know our business. It was very rude of her. She also spoke in a different language with her co worker about us. We use this clinic for our 7 month baby, he had a fever and she was giving us a problem. They have no problem billing our insurance company thousands. How can u refuse a sick patient that is only 7 months old? I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU USE ANOTHER CLINIC. I would appreciate an apology from the lady at the front desk for being so rude.

I have been to this clinic several times now for a variety of medical concerns and regular check-ups. The staff is extremely friendly, while at the same time taking care of patients in a very timely, professional manner. The enviroment is extremely welcoming and I would recommend this clinic to anyone for their medical needs.

Unlike other walk-in clinics Ive visited in the past, the wait time at Centmed is for 90% of the time, less than 10 - 15 minutes. The physicians are all very approachable and are willing to spend time to hear you out rather than trying to rush you out the door

Check them out - definitely worth if youre in pain like I was. In addition, the receptionist Basia is so nice! Every time I have issue with my insurance or with needing to reschedule a meeting, she got me covered and can help me out.
