I lived in Chicago for a short time, and having had unreliable results with Botox where I had lived prior (regardless of whether I invested in very pricey physicians or average pricing), I chose Dr. Memar from an online site with the intention of getting by during my stay in Chicago. I wasnt hopeful, as my history was of Botox results lasting from a month to 3 months, with the worst having been when I paid over $600, saw no results, and called in 2 weeks to let the office know my disappointment and was told I had missed the one-week window! I loved the short-term results when it worked, but the unreliability and huge range of pricing was insulting and depleting. I first saw Dr. Memar for Botox about 10 years ago, and I have since moved about 5 hours from Chicago. Dr. Memar has provided consistent Botox results and affordable pricing for me ever since, as I travel to Chicago 3 times a year, and have done so for the past 9 years. It means a lot to me to not feel taken advantage-of in what can be a very hopeful, but often disappointing, cosmetic medicine industry. Dr. Memar maintains the integrity of the physician-patient relationship, as I truly am cared about and valued as a patient...I know Im in good hands, essentially. Importantly, his nursing staff always make me feel so welcome and kind! Thank you all.

Unfortunately, I have to disagree with the above review. I felt completely ripped off and humiliated by my experience at this place. I honestly dont know what people (2) are talking about when they say "friendly staff" on the contrary, everyone at the front desk were flat and cold. Not a smile or a welcome. I dont understand the reason of setting up an appointment and they requesting you to be there at least 15 minutes prior to your appointment when you will see the doctor after 45 minutes of your scheduled time. I went there to see doctor Memar for some large dark spots on my face on my cheeks, I waited in a room for what it felt forever, he can in, look at me and he said, there is nothing wrong with you, just stop using any hairspray or soaps, it should go away. That was all, not even one minute. You would expect that after $183.00 dollars consultation, he would at least have the courtesy to hear your concerns and questions. No, he walked away and that was all. I had to set up another appointment with a dermatologist who diagnosed me with Melasma, a very extreme case of it. She prescribed a cream and within a week I have seen the spots fading away. I really have the worst experience in my life when it comes to doctors. In my books, Doctor Memar is there only to satisfy his greed and for the money.

I was previously a patient of Dr. Memars and had generally good experiences with him. I made an appointment approximately a week ago for a simple skin cancer screen. Despite having a made the appointment (and having his office confirm it then), today - nearly one week later, I receive a call from the office saying that they have transitioned to a new "concierge" service and they no longer accept (any) insurance. However, he will still see me - but for an out of pocket fee of $150. Thanks but no thanks. That is a bad way to conduct business. If you knew of the "new" change at the time I booked the appointment I should have been informed of it then. If you changed your business model it after I booked my appointment you should have kept your commitment to me and your other scheduled appointments. Either way - it is disappointing. Plenty of other good doctors out there.

He is an amazing dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon. I have been around thousands of physicians in my career and with absolute certainty I can say he is the best of the best. First, he is brilliant and has fantastic clinical judgement. In terms of surgical skills, he is truly a master both technically and artistically. Likewise, scientifically he truly understands mechanisms and the basis of disease and treatments. He is not bound by traditions and thinks creatively outside the box including alternative and natural therapies. On top of all this, he is a genuine human being who treats everyone with respect. Needless to say that I have trusted him with the most sensitive surgical procedures on my face and hair with fantastic outcomes. He is truly a gem!

Ive been a patient of Dr Memars for a decade now. He is one of the most patient centered and approachable experts I have come across. He is up to date on, and contributing to the latest scientific research. He is a gifted surgeon and a dermatologist with encyclopedic knowledge of his field. His diagnostic skills are impeccable and when he talks with you, it feels like you are his only patient for the day and the absolute center of his attention. Above all though, he is also a very warm and caring individual, a genuinely good human being. He seems to have a talent for surrounding himself with similarly compassionate and professional staff. As others have mentioned on here, his practice has a distinct friendly and caring family vibe.

I had an amazing experience with Dr Memar and Lisa. Ive never had any prior cosmetic procedure done Before so I was extremely nervous. However, when I came in to Doctor Memars office I was greeted by everyone there and I instantly felt at home and comfortable. I left Dr.Memars office after my consultation and I knew I made the right decision. He was confident and genuinely caring about making sure I was healthy enough to even go into surgery. Today I am about 3 days post surgery and I am so happy with my results and am ecstatic to see how my results improve over time as well. I never thought I would be able to achieve the curves Dr.Memar made possible. I recommend Dr. Memar for any cosmetic procedure! 5+ stars if I could!

I have been a patient for at least 10 yeas now. I am a male to female trams woman and needed help with feminization as well as shape and contour of my body. Transitioning so late I had already showed age in my body and face. We worked together to, over time, address each and every concern. The approach was through yet conservative and responsible. If you are looking for the TV show the Swan, I dont think that is gonna happen. They are too smart to do to much to fast. We all want a fast fix but the safest way and the smartest way, is to take the time to do it right. Every change no mater how small informs the next change. The puzzle is an art form. I can easily say that they changed my life. I am forever grateful.

I have been a patient of Dr. Memar for over a Decade I have been extremely satisfied with the servics and products within that time. I have also recommended family and friends to Dr. Memar over the years, His friendly knowledgeable staff, environment and the beautiful view of Michigan Avenue from his reception area always makes my visit a pleasant one. One of the greater strengths I believe that dr. Memar may have over other dermatologist that I visited over the years is his genuine concern for his patients I have been very appreciative of his and he never makes you feel uncomfortable about asking questions and is always readily available with knowledgeable And information to resolve a patients concerns.
