I had to change dermatologists because mine no longer took my insurance. My previous doctor recommended Dr. David Shanker and I called to make an appointment. I got an appointment quickly and then read the reviews. I trusted my previous doctor and knew that the negative review was unlikely to be true so I decided to see for myself. The office staff were terrific and Dr. Shanker was polite, professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I knew that I was a month overdue for my skin check and was worried about something on my back. I left the office confident that my worry was for nothing and look forward to continuing with Dr. Shanker as my dermatologist. I will recommend him to all my friends. Its a shame that social media gives unhappy people a vehicle to take out their insecurities on others. Note to Camilla: you can get a reaction suddenly from something you have used for ages and toothpaste is known to cause problems to some. If you can clean your sink with toothpaste it cant be good to leave sitting on your skin.

He didnt shake my hand....then said the reason for my rash was because of the toothpaste Ive been using for years decided to randomly turn on me and give me a rash. (???HOW???) What a great dermatologist! Kidding. Stay in the suburbs Dr!

I am a new patient. I was in and out in 20 minutes with no waiting. Dr Shanker was great. Office staff was friendly.

Super friendly staff, the lady at the desk was soooo sweet! Got a same day appointment an hour after I called.
