Went in because I was itching just horribly. The doctor looked at a past diagnosis of eczema and said that was it, and I probably wasnt hydrating properly and needed extra moisturizing for dry skin. Nothing more was done. Followed their protocol with the rx lotion to a T (that I bought), was still losing my mind over the itching days later. Called in and talked to the nurse and she acted like I was crazy. Stated I needed to make sure I was using proper drying methods after I got out of the shower and used the lotion everywhere. It finally got so bad I had to go in again. This time they did a skin test and it came back as scabies. Rxd another lotion (that again I paid for) and was told by the DR if that didnt work, call back in and they would just issue a different Rx. Well that Dr moved to a different practice and Belle Meade had no notes collected on anything that was said during my second visit. I was told I could schedule another appointment if I liked. I told them this would be my third time in for the same issue, how the Dr I saw had said I was too proceed going forward, and I was basically told "sorry, youll need to schedule another appt." I asked her how they kept patient like this and was told they essentially werent worried about it. Went to Brentwood Dermatology after that and they got me better quickly. I called Belle Meade numerous times to speak with billing and someone in the office about my dissatisfaction and experience, I never got a call back and they sent my account to collections. I honestly dont know how they expect someone to just blindly keep coming back ad nauseum or pay them while they "practice medicine" until they get it right.

I wouldnt even give this place 1 star. Awful customer service and they have no idea what they are doing. Received a cortisone shot because Dr. Day said that I needed it for my eczema. Did not even explain why, did not tell me any side effects or symptoms. Spoke for just a few minutes then left the room immediately. His nurse administered the injection which was very painful. 6 months after, the injection site is still bruised and there is an indention where it occurred. I called back today and nurse acted so dumb. She had no idea of the name of the cortisone she injected. She had to call back and ask the doctor. Then she said the muscle atrophy (which caused indentation) is NORMAL. I went to family doctor today and he said it is definitely not normal and that she should have warned me of these side effects. She also said the indentation should "fill back in" within 6 months...Well FYI, it has been 6 months since my injection and it has gotten WORSE. Nurse said she can try and fix it by filling the indentation with a saline injection. I do not trust ANY of them to touch me. DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC. They have no idea what they are doing.

I would NOT suggest seeing Dr. Pardue for anything but especially not acne. He only spent 2-3 minutes with me every visit and kept prescribing me antibiotics that NEVER WORKED! I came back repeatedly expressing my frustration and guess what? MORE antibiotics. When I finally asked what I was being treated for and if it was safe to keep pumping my body with different antibiotics, he became incredibly annoyed and smug. I almost gave up until I read a review about Dr. Abby. One visit from her and she correctly diagnosed me, gave me several treatment options and I saw remarkable differences after just one visit! She was patient, informative and very kind. A God send for me. To the point of other reviewers- beware: The office workers there are RUDE!

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I should have listened to everyone who told me not to go! It took me THREE months to get a prior authorization approved and the max time they told me was two weeks! It is impossible to get ahold of the staff and when you do they are beyond rude. I left a voicemail for the office manager three weeks ago asking him to personally call me, and I never heard back from him. The nurse explained to me that she and another girl work for two NP’s (who work three days a week) and that they are constantly busy. I call BS! I felt like this doctor’s office could have cared less if I was their patient or not. I will not be returning and I hope no one else wastes their time with this awful doctor’s office!

CONSUMER BEWARE! I called this office and told the person who scheduled my appointment EXACTLY what I was coming in for. When I arrived for my appointment and was taken back to the examination room, the NP came in and flat out told me they couldnt treat my condition, that I would have to go to a completely different doctor. I was then handed a pamphlet with a phone number on it. THAT WAS IT. I received zero service and they still collected an office visit fee. WHY WOULD YOU SCHEDULE APPOINTMENTS FOR SERVICES YOU CANT PROVIDE?!?!? And then not only charge the patient for the co-pay, but also file a claim with the insurance company! This is beyond bad business, and teeters on the edge of insurance fraud.

I love Belle Meade Dermatology, especially the care given by Dr. Pardue. I came in a little over a month ago with skin issues that I have struggled with all my life, that have made so insecure about the way I look, that often looking in the mirror just made me want to cry. His treatment, care and compassion has completely changed my life. I cant thank him enough for the huge impact it has had on my self-esteem. I wouldnt recommend any other dermatologist but him and tell everyone I know about this great change in my life. I feel like a brand new person. Thank you, Dr. Pardue, you truly are a life-changer.

My experience with Belle Meade Dermatology has always been tremendous!! I especially love the expert care given by Dr Pardue! Truly he is the best in the business when it comes to skincare and taking care of his patients! His caring nature and hilarious humor helped to lighten the stress of my day. I recommend him highly if you are in the Nashville area and need a dermatologist! Not only is he the best, but he has the experience and knowledge to back it up. "Thanks Dr Pardue for always taking good care of me when I am there" You make me have faith in a world where healthcare needs can be a scary thing.

I heard about Belle Meade Dermatology from a family member. So I called on 3/18/14 at around 8:30 am to hear a hateful lady name Dawn answer. I told her I needed to make an appt. I didnt have a specific Dr. that I wanted to see. She then said "Well, which provider...again very hateful. I then just said never mind and hung up the phone.I then googled to see what other reviews have been posted and its no surprise it was about bad customer service. Whats sad is there are so many people that are in need of a job, but yet its people like her who keep giving bad customer service and keeping their job.
