First of all, Dr. Michael Lewitt is professional and his facility is clean and organized. I was in and out of my appointment in 30 minutes with no issues. Very kind, timely staff. However, I was appalled at how much I was expected to pay for such a short appointment. I had a small wart on my hand removed, and small mole removed for cosmetic reasons. After having done my research for years on how much a mole removal would cost (about $200), I was shocked to find that the actual cost is about four times what I expected. This was AFTER insurance covered half of my bill. I called billing customer service and was informed that this was normal. I will be paying for this 30 minute appointment for 6 months, and as a college student, this is devastating. Will not be returning. I suggest asking their office how much your individual procedure will cost beforehand.

My GP referred me to IDI and my experience has been very positive. Ive had three follow up appointments to remove a persistent wart on my foot and each experience has been great. Dr. Lewitt is friendly, professional and prompt with every appointment. The office staff has always been kind and professional. My cost was the cost of the co-pay for the visit, which was expected as I know my policy well. Highly recommend this office and doctor.
