I just got off the phone with several staff members at Collinsville Dental Care (6 nov 08), lindsy being the last. To bring you up to todays conversation I must tell you first why we chose Collinsville Dental care. We have a large family, all of the dentists near us only allow two to three family members in a given week for dental appt. We called around and found Collinsville Dental Care talked to staff, explained that we have a large family and were looking for a new Dentist that would work with us and get everyone in on the same day. I was so excited when the lady I spoke to on the phone assured me that would be no problem, her exact words were we have several dentist in our office and we will be able to set a block time for your family and get everyone in on the same day. We had a couple emergency dental trips over the summer so two of the seven family members had been seen. Today I called to schedule everyones 6 month check up. The first staff member told me she would have to check and see if there was a note on our account so I was put on hold, she came back and told me that she could schedule up to 3 family members and that was it. I asked to speak to the office manager, she informed me they dont have and office manager everyone is equal. I then asked well if you have no office manager who is in charge? I would like to speak to the person responsible, so again I am put on hold. A very cheerful and sarcastic staff member then got on the phone her name was Lindsy. She proceeded to tell me that policy is that they could schedule 3 family members at a time, then she told me let me check your account getting ready to put me on hold for the third time, I interuppted her and let her know the previous staff member had already checked the account and the kids records. At this point and time I am very agravated and becoming irate. I am in tears on the phone and the person on the other end of the line is being rude and sarcastic, which enrages me!!!! I end up losing my cool and cussing lindsy out. Bottom line is I would have never driven an hour to a dentists office had I not been assured by that office that they could accomadate our families needs. So after spending more that a half an hour on the phone I still dont have a dentist appointment for the family and now have to find a new dentist. I feel this was the worst experience I have ever had if you value your families dental care DO NOT waste your time with Collinsville Dental Care.

DO NOT COME HERE!!!! They are very nice only to suck you in and make you pay money.. I was told to come in for a FREE evaluation and 2 days later I got billed! Also the dentist wanted to start work on a tooth and told me he may not be able to finish it because it might need a root canal and he doesnt do root canals I asked why would you start on a tooth you may not be able to finish.. his response thats a chance were willing to take!!!! REALLY WORST EXPERIENCE EVER at a dental office!

My wife took our 4 year old to his first denist appointment today (11/2/07). After making them wait for two hours they would not let me wife go back with my son to make sure he was ok. After calling to complain, they office manager gave me a bogus reason that they did not want to expose anyone to radiation from the x-rays. After I debunked that she gave me more bogus reasons. Needless to say, we will not be going back and if you have children I would not take them there either.

Worst place ever i thought i had one chip tooth found out i had 2 teeth in the back and it cost me $570 and i thought that would be it well its not my hole mouth still hurts and u cant get in on the weekends and im going to have to be in pain until monday. And the sucky thing about it i have that dental care through them and then i have another dental plan through them that i pay 19.99 a month through them for what . I would give this dentist a F - NOT EVEN A STAR

So disappointed. Got a crown and a few fillings, and the crown was placed with a hole in it, and when I complained of it not feeling right, I was told it would be fine. A year later a different dentist had to replace it. Tonight, one of the fillings fell out, after not even two years. A total waste of money. Pick a different office to care for your dental health.

NOT a very good first impression! scheduled my first and last appointment and waited an hour and a half. I got frustrated and walked out. Horrible customer service!. If you go to their website they have a lot of good reviews. They can make their own on there! Dont trust them. Several people were aggravated when I was in there.

You go in for a cleaning and them they want to do a crown the same day. People have a life and not spending the whole day at the dentist. It happened one time I was their almost 5 hours, I know their trap know NEVER AGAIN!

Went there 3 times for the same problem, never solved it. I kept going because the second and the 3rd one were free... But they use cheap material, its just terrible.

Im surprised about all the bad reviews. This place has always been good to me. Flexible schedule. Prices ok. Clean environment. TVs. Ive been going here for years.
