Before even stepping foot into Grins I was impressed with the set-up of the website and the ease in setting up an appointment. The website has a ton of helpful info and it was nice to be able to print off the new patient paperwork so that I could fill it out in advance of the appointment. When I made the appointment, the lady offered to contact our insurance to ensure it was squared away before we even came for our appointment. The appointment itself was flawless. This was the first dental appt. for my 2 1/2 year old. She was a bit tired and unsure but they did everything to ease her worries. Dr. Suzy met w/ me to get as much information as possible on eating and brushing habits. They put on my daughters favorite movie and we went into the dental chair together. Dr. Suzy walked her through all of her tools, how shed use them, etc. At each stage she had a funny little poem or song that was a welcome distraction. She made it as painless as possible and my daughter did very well. I will pass along Grins as a referral to everyone I know who has a little one.

I brought my daughter to Dr. Suzy last month. And was initially wanting to get a second opinion. When I get there, they quoted me a $140 after insurance. I asked the manager if the estimate is correct, she told me not to worry about it. I asked her to add cleaning service, which cost only $9 more after insurance. I thought it was good. And after I talked to Dr. Suzy, I feel I can trust her. Then I turned the second opinion to a treatment. After I went next door for lunch, and come back about 40 minutes later. I found they finished every thing. And when the manager said because of some medicine they applied for my daughter, they need to charge $75 more. I did not have problem. Last week, I got another bill for about $226 more. In the end I paid $149 (estimate)+ $75+ $226=$450 (total treatment was $887), which is about 3 times of the estimated cost. So far, the filling was not fall off yet9that is good). Hope I am not getting a discount on the treatment!

I wouldnt dream of taking my child to anyone else. We found Dr. Suzy Pope in the midst of a dental crisis with our sons teeth. We didnt know what this emergency would bring, but we were referred to Dr. Suzy by a friend and we will be forever grateful. She handled the situation with a level of kindness, gentleness, and expertise I have never before experienced from a medical professional. We have relied on Dr. Suzy over the last two years for further procedures as well as cleanings, and every time weve needed her, shes been there, even giving us her personal contact information when we needed to reach her over a weekend. Her office staff is also excellent. The child-focused environment, which is another result of the kindness and joy that Dr. Suzy fosters there, continues to impress. My son now asks if he will be able to stay and play after his appointments, because he feels so safe and happy at Grins on Green Bay. Thank you, Dr. Suzy!

We found Dr Suzy within a month of arriving in Winnetka and I am so glad we did. She is truly wonderful - she speaks to my 2 children clearly and in a way that everything she does makes sense. My son had to have a tooth extracted just after Christmas and she made the whole process very easy and comfortable - so much so I think my son was wondering why his sister had made such a fuss when she had had hers done (somewhere else!) I will continue to see Dr Suzy for as long as we are living here as I feel I have found a truly great offering with exceptional service from the whole team - why bother looking elsewhere.

We had a great experience for my daughters first visit to the dentist. My daughter was able to play with toys in the waiting room in order to become comfortable with the new environment. Dr. Suzy answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns. She explained what to expect for the first visit and helped ease my anxiety relating to a concern I had. While my daughter had her teeth cleaned, Dr. Suzy sang her several songs. It was great to see my daughter so relaxed and comfortable. My daughter loved the toothbrush, stickers, and balloon that Dr. Suzy gave her when she finished her visit.

My kids have both gone to Dr. Suzy at Grins on Green Bay since she opened. We were new to town and so was she so we figured wed give her a chance. The kids both LOVE her because she is so nice. The exams are thorough and I dont need to call 9 mos in advance to book appointments. Since shes started offering adult dental care both my husband and I are planning to switch over to her care as well. A WONDERFUL addition to the area :)

Weve been going to Grins on Green Bay since it opened. My 3 children receive superior care from Dr. Suzy and her staff. She is honest, proactive and has an excellent bedside manner with children. She takes the time to explain to the parent what is going on and explains what will be done at each visit. My children love going to the dentist. Highly recommend Dr. Suzy.
