Everybody was great at the emergency room until I met the doctor. I couldnt believe how he treated me. They didnt find out what was wrong. I still have pain. He asked me about some history and said "What you didnt follow up on it? What kind of person doesnt follow up??" And gave me that look where he was literally looking down on me. I didnt even get out the words when I was trying to say "My insurance...." and he was like "Ohh mhmm..." I just received my new insurance recently. Im an over the road truck driver. So its difficult for me to schedule a doctor visit. Let alone if I have to schedule lab appointments and all that after. And I just switched companies. It was extremely rude of him to judge me like that. I gave 3 stars because they were quick getting me in. I had no wait time. And I was only in the ER for about 2.5hrs! Which is great! The nurse was wonderful. The CAT scan technician was fabulous! The ER seemed very clean! It was just the doctor and the fact that they couldnt find what was wrong.

I have ALWAYS been taken care of quite well, by all nurses and doctors on staff. I have gone through many kidney complications and I would not choose any other place or hospital to be at when dealing with the cycles and pain that occur. I can not thank the entire staff enough for ALL there work, safety and cooperation with me throughout these life changes. But, I will try to do so more and more with each future visit! I highly recommend this hospital. I had been here when I was a young boy, I have had BOTH my children born here and I have tried other surrounding hospitals throughout my life and I always return HERE for the treatment my family and I need in our lives. Thank you again and I hope those reading this highly consider the Richland county Olney Hospital in Illinois for ALL of you and your family needs.

When the emergency doctor bout kills you and says your constipated yet really your having kidney failure and a ruptured spleen something is wrong. They cant disclose whos working in the ER ITS OUR RIGHT.... to know doctor boone is a pos worthless doctor

For a change I actually had an EXCELLENT experience in the ER today. Dr. Ottney was great and very thorough and everyone from the nurses to xray and ultrasound were very nice and attentive to my needs. THANK YOU for all you guys did for me today!

The ER is a joke. Seriously just drive to Vincennes if you have an emergency. The OB/Labor and delivery is fantastic however and Ive had a baby at Vincennes and here and would go here again in a heartbeat!

Get Right or Get Left

They send patients away with serious problems causing deaths. They assume people that are hurt are just trying to get drugs. The staff seem like they arent happy to work with people..

I was refused help on Sunday July 5 by the ER nurse, and I over heard the doctor say ,"no I cant help her" horrible!! I have a witness of this happening, Im still in pain

My mother really loves this hospital. They have taken good care of her during her emergencies. My first daughter was born there and we had an amazing staff.
