I have been a patient for as well as my kids for a few years now with no issues. Due to an insurance issue I had to see a different dentist and they cracked a crown among another thing. I went back to my beloved tru family dental and requested a new cap to feel normal again and have full x-rays to see what else I needed done. I was also at the end of this appointment going to make another one and check ups and cleanings for my 2 young children. Dr. Ahmed did everything in her power to convince me I did not need a new cap although it was broken and a big chunk was gone. I only got one x-ray not a full mouth check up as requested. The end of my fiscal year of insurance is July and wanted to use all my money before then. I left crying as Dr. Ahmed I believe needs a class in working with patients she was down right mean, condicending, rude and treated me like I was dumb. The receptionist who is new was unhelpful. I called two days later and left a message requesting dr. Fatland or another dentist other than Ahmad. I tried calling several times. No response. I wish I may speak to another dentist there in person to take care of me but I cannot get a hold of anyone. I was also in the office for over one hour in the chair with only one x-ray done. Dr. Ahmed took my tears so rudely she had the receptionist write a referral for a consultation for a crown. So I can have nitrous? I have had crowns before at tru dental and never needed such. Plus never had it ever for anything at any dentist. Very unprofessional. If someone in control reads this review please call the Palos Hills office and call me direct to get me an appointment with my usual normal dentist. In the mean time I am looking for another dentist close by to help me and my family. Lastly if anyone reading this has had a problem with Dr. Ahmed please write a review I know I am not the only one. Just be advised she is fine if you do as she says but when it comes to listening and accommodating with understanding she has zero. Very mean natured. Please come forward because as of now Im stuck trying to find a new dentist and starting over from scratch because of her. Please report if you could not get through the phone systems earlier. Please where is my old receptionist and dentist at tru family dental?

Hands down the best dental experience Ive EVER had, even for a new patient with severe anxiety! I am relatively new to the area and was looking for a dentist to treat a cracked tooth with a missing filling, as well as to (hopefully) treat and maintain my teeth with regular care. Having had bad experiences with dentists and oral surgeons in the past, I was apprehensive, but decided to give this place a try - and Im so glad I did. I had my cracked tooth extracted as well as multiple large multi-surface fillings redone, and the doctor was speedy while still taking the time to reassure me and communicate what she was doing. All the staff was friendly and extremely accommodating, including handling billing and future scheduling. You could knock me over with a feather, but Ive never been able to say that Im not dreading going to the dentist again! Really, if you are looking for a dentist, I urge you to check this place out. This is a dental business done right, and they deserve every ounce of business they get.

I never been to the dentist and Ill admit that I was curious and intimidated. The thought of going to the dentist could be just horrifying, i kept my mind open and I just called in and they scheduled me within a week, the first time I got there, they did a whole bunch of things, but all I could do is put my trust in them, after all, they know what they are doing. The visit went really well, I loved the attention to detail. They are all really nice people, from the people on the front desk to the doctors in the back. They are all very professional and really good at what they do. I would recommend them to any one that is looking for a dentist office. Also, the coolest thing about it is; if you have an appointment at 10am it wont be long until they take care of you. Once you are there, they do what they have to get done on your teeth, explain whats gonna happen, and you soon will be out. I will go there in the future because their work ethic is fantastic!

This was my first time here with my son and we were greeted with smiles, everyone was so nice, helpful, and very professional. Nicole Marchese is an awesome hygienist, she was very nice to my son and I, very gentle, and honest about everything. She even hung around for awhile when she found out my 14 year old son had to have a tooth extraction and she knew he was nervous. We love her for that, she made him feel very calm and everything went really good! Dr. John Yang did the extraction, he was so good that my son didnt even know he had given him the shots and already had his tooth out! We want to thank everyone for such a great experience! We will definitely recommend you to others. Also, a big thanks to AnnaMarie Davis the office manager, she was very helpful explaining everything and helping me with my bill! We will be back for sure! I did my research on dentists before picking Tru Family Dental. My old dentist retired and its been a struggle to find a replacement that could make me feel comfortable. The office staff was extremely friendly and even was able to work around my crazy work schedule. The hygienist explained all the steps while she was cleaning my teeth and even told me BEFORE she touched some sensative areas. The dentist was very professional and helped me understand the issues I was having and explained all my options. Before I left i was given a written estimate of the work that needed to be done, everything was explained, including how much my insurance will cover and what my out of pocket will be. No pressure to get the work done, they just wanted to give me a heads up. I love that!!! No surprises. Im just a regular guy in his 30s and can honestly say this is the best dentist offices in the area. Mark S.

My first visit I was very nervous but when I walked into the office Anna Marie was very friendly and welcoming. They are introduced themselves to me and I thought that was very professional. I then saw Jenifer and she was super nice and friendly as well. Today when I went I got the same great customer service and I cant wait to get all my dental work done with you guys. The dentist that worked on my teeth was also super friendly. You guys are awesome and keep up with all the good work. I definitely will tell my family and friends about you guys. You all rock and thanks again for everything and look forward to seeing you all at my next appointments that are coming up!!!
