We have been taking both of our dogs here since they were puppies. The staff is incredible. The office staff always take the time when were making an appointment to let us know what our charges will be prior to our arrival so that we can budget accordingly. They never get impatient or angry. The vets, weve seen most of them, theyre awesome. Our dogs get nervous, but as soon as they sense the vet and sense the "good" they settle down. They never rush through an examination or give shots and walk out. They talk to the dog, pet them, talk with us, and then proceed. Always professional and courteous. Weve also boarded one of our dogs for a weekend when we went out of town. Evidently they had him out by the front desk for a little bit and he hammed it up with other patients and "helped with paperwork". That made me feel better knowing they were treating him like one of their own. Love this place and HIGHLY recommend them.

One of my cats was lethargic and sick this morning so I took her to see Dr. Emil Baukert at Riser. They fit me in right away and I was greeted by their friendly staff who actually filled out the paperwork for me, it was very easy. There were a couple of people bringing in their large dogs for grooming and check ups and the people and pets both seemed happy to be there. I waited for about 2mins and I met the doctor who was very personable and shook my hand with a smile. I got to observe my kittys physical exam, he had a gentle touch and she was purring and rubbing his hands while he was trying to write things down. We had a great conversation where he answered all my questions. Check out was smooth and the fees were very reasonable for the services provided. I will be taking my other 2 cats here for check ups. Thank you!

The vets here like your animals. Ive never had a bad experience here. The only thing I dont like is that they have a fundraising box for CARE (the place that killed every other dog they had control of while helming the Evanston Animal Shelter and made off with over a million dollars that was supposed to go towards expanding the shelter) and honestly, a CARE box is a deal-breaker, normally. You support them, I dont support you. However, I will excuse Riser for this due to how well they treat my animals. If the box is gone, 5 stars.

Weve been going to Riser since my previous dog was a puppy.. since around 1985 or so. Theyve been my current dogs vet since she was a puppy as well (shes 11 now). Weve never been dissatisfied at all. The vets and the staff are all amazing. I trust them, and Ive never have any trouble getting my dog in right away when necessary. Very satisfied with this vet.

My pets have gone here for 15 years and Ive always been delighted with them. They have the highest medical standards and their entire staff is very professional. They are not above rubbing your cats furry belly either! My cats have spent several nights here and appear unfazed by the experience - that means theyve been well cared for.

I have cat and dog. This place really took care of them first something happened to my cat I took him over there they gave me updates on everything. For my dog I got him fixed he loved this place so much he started to dance with one of their staff memeber. I highly recommend this place for any Owerner who has a pet

Best animal hospital in Skokie/Lincolnwood area. They saved my dog from parvo virus as a puppy (80% fatality rate with this virus if dog isnt vaccinated, my puppy wasnt) and we had a wonderful vet who knew the virus well and saved my white miniature poodle, who is now 14 years old. I trust Riser for life.

Been here a couple times for my dog, one time she was sick, one time for a general checkup. Entire staff was friendly and had smiles on their faces. Dr. Will was very clear and answered any questions I had. Definitely my vet of choice for my dog.
