This dentist is supposed to be great with children so we took our 4 year old to him driving almost 3 hours to get there and he was very rude. She had an abscessed tooth that needed to be pulled so the first day we went he did nothing but prescribe an antibiotic. When I told him we drove almost three hours to see him he said and I quote, "I dont care where you live or how far you drove you have to come back in 2 days for me to pull the tooth". That caught me off guard but I was more upset at our local dentist for not giving an antibiotic before referring us. With my toddler in extreme pain we drove back 2 days later. We were told that since she was so young that she would be put to sleep. That was a lie. I had to hold my daughter down while he pulled her tooth out not even a full 60 seconds after giving her the injection to numb her. She was terrified and screaming and obviously still in pain and he told her to be quiet and that she was fine. After the tooth was pulled I went to the desk with my daughter and my mother waiting to see what they wanted to do next. They just said ok have a nice day. They called me later that day saying "well since she was crying we need you to come back in 2 weeks for an impression for a spacer". By this point Im beyond frustrated that they could have done the impression that day they just didnt want to wait for her to calm down. We went back today, 11-24-15, for the impression and once again the dentist was very rude. She started crying the minute she saw him. He had no patience for her and was yelling at my daughter like that was going to make the situation better. I asked if she could sit on my lap being as young as she is and he refused. After myself and my husband tried to get her to calm down to no avail because he didnt give us even 5 minutes he told us that he wasnt going to do an impression and that we are wasting his time because she wont stop crying. This guy is the worst pedodontist I could imagine. Do not take your kids to him as he had no patience for kids.

We switched from a different dentist. The office is poorly ran. The dentists are knowledgeable and friendly but the front desk lacks customer service skills and are rude. The first visit I waited 55 minutes past my scheduled time to be seen. Not once did they front desk come and tell me that they had a emergency. I get it. I had to go in 3 times and ask what the hold up was. Then the hygienist came out and said there was a emergency. Had they just said that from the beginning and not set the expectation that it would be "5 more minutes" 3 times then I would of been ok. Fast forward to the second visit, I had to get a cavity filled and schedule an appointment for my son. They same receptionist had to assist me. She asked me a million questions knowing that I couldnt speak because my mouth was numb and I eventually asked for a piece of paper to write information down. We luckily got my sons appointment scheduled and she was being rude about it the whole time. Now today I get a phone call from her saying that they no longer have a pediatric dentist and that we would have to travel to Chicago to see another dentist in the practice or my son would have to see a general dentist. I eventually just called it quits and we will be looking for another dentist. This practice seems to contract their dentists because she said one quit. If you need to make a appointment at a different location they cant help you. You have to hang up and call yourself. So annoying and so rude! The dentists are great as well as hygienist I just cant stand a poorly managed business where people are not respectful of your time and more importantly make you feel like you are bothering them when you could go to someone else.

I have been going to this dentistry for a while and trusting all the staff. but unfortunately I came to realize my daughter caught a bacteria in her mouth which will cause her to lose her front teeth and has damage all over her upper and bottom teeth she is only 5yrs old shes lost her appetite and is very unhappy with her smile its sad to see my daughter in pain Dr. Souri never fixed anything after so many appointments which truly disappoints me so it has gotten worse the thing here is ever since he left they Got a new Dr. I believe Dr. Gupta is the name the Dr. Could care any less over her patients and the work this Dr. Provides is horrible I cant even floss my daughters teeth from the fill-in they supposedly did. I would like for the owner of this place to contact me as soon as possible because now my daughters treatment will cost me $5,042.00 out of pocket for a 5yr old which is a ridiculous amount for something that the Dr. Didnt do right. Changing the subject the front desk ladies are very rude and never answer the phones when I call or other people call to schedule an appointment or speak with a manager. The last time I was there with my daughter was because they wouldnt answer the phone so I went personally and I heard and saw them chit chatting so I sat down and called from the office waiting area and not one of them answered the phone after me calling around six times I mean I heard their phone rang so why did they kept laughing and chit chatting and never answered the phone so I got mad and left because that is ridiculous they werent doing a thing just talking so how hard was it to pick up a phone? I didnt say anything bad because I had my child plus there was other little kids too.

I typically do not write reviews , especially when the service is horrible . I try to give people the benefit of the doubt , but I just could not help my self on this one . The receptionist was so nice and helpful and I appreciate her for that. The assistant is what got me through the appointment I was about 3 seconds from leaving , but the assistant calmed me down and insured that everything was gonna be ok. I have never in my life been to a dentist appointment worse that what I experienced today . I knew my teeth was , and my plan is to get everything fixed . I never thought I would go into this appointment being judge the way I did .Dr. Mohammad ABbas was the rudest most inconsiderate dentist I ever been too. He was rude he yelled at me he judge me . I had one of the worst infections he seen and when he pressed on my teeth it hurtled so bad that I cried . While crying and yelling him it hurt he yelled at me and said he been doing this for 30 years he know when something hurt .i had to stop him and tell him about himself . Then he went on and start yelling at my kid for being on the phone . Again I give people the benefit of the doubt so I want judge the whole establishment. But I will never visit dr Abbas again ! He better not come no where near me or my teeth again. Ps: he seen how bad my tooth was he referred me to a surgeon I explained to him that the pain was so bad he act like he didnt care . He prescribe me ibuprofen after I told him it didnt work. Now Im writing this review in so much pain that Im literally balded up in my bed
