Took my chinchilla in and they said he needed to be hospitalized and they was going to put him on fluids and do a procedure. I explained I was on a budget and gave her the amount I had to work with she said no problem. Two days later I called asked how much my bill is they told me and I went to pick him up the next with money in hand. I get there and they said the bill is 50 dollars more than they told me. I asked what did they do and the tech listed 5 unapproved thing that they never discussed with me. Then they had the gull to tell me that they typically dont release the pet without payment, which is against the law. I wait over an hour for the vet to get there to talk to her and she apologized for the miss understanding of the amount but makes note that her employees have to eat the same and she really needs the money but its ok since your chinchilla is on his last leg I will let him go home with you. I will never step food in their doors nor will I ever recommend anyone to go. All I gathered is they love the money not the animal or emotional attachment. She let me know before I left that its just a chinchilla. Just a chinchilla that has been part of my family and has a lifespan of 20 years. NEVER AGAIN. I thought after reading reviews I would give them the benefit of a doubt and now my chinchilla paid for it I lossed him 2 days after all the horrid event.

This business is just here to swindle pet owners...DO NOT VISIT! NEVER VISIT THIS VET! Wasted my time and money bringing my sick bird to this unfriendly, full of excuses, & greedy "place of business" if thats what its called. From the moment I walked in Beth never introduced herself or who she was until I asked, very unprofessional. She seemed overworked & tired from my first impression and there were kids running around behind the scene of the waiting room. After 1 day of my bird being there she tried to convince me that my bird was on the brink of death with several health ailments and wanted to keep him for several days. I decided to take my chances and look for other options for his health care. With a little research on my own, herbs, supplements, better nutrition lots of TLC my bird is doing very well and is back to daily singing. IF I CAN SAVE ANYONE THE GRIEF OF NOT CHOOSING THIS BUSINESS IT IS WORTH MY TIME TO POST.

I had brought my two mini piglets to the emergency vet here due to multiple bites from a dog that came into our premises. The by we saw was absolutely amazing and did everything she could for our piglets. One of our piglets (female) did not make it but our male did. The vetenarian did everything she could and was very compassionate about our piglets. She helped me understand that as much as I did not want to let my piglet go that she was not going to make it. She came to meet with us within 30 minutes and she was amazing and we definitely appreciate her time and the hard work she did to save our male piglet Chico. He now is doing wonderful and thats all thanks to her hard work. Love this clinic and now we will continue to take Chico for all future appointments here :)

It looks like a hole-in-the-wall, but this may be the best vet of any kind in the entire city. We first came to them seeking a second opinion for one of our rats. Our previous vet told us she "has some gunk in her lungs" and they this was "the beginning of the end." Our rat was 1.5 years old. We took her to Dr. B here and she explained everything in far more accurate and scientific terms, and then prescribed a course of treatment that worked like a charm. Our little girl lived another year and a half as a result. But dont take my word for it. When you walk in, youll see a yellow and gray exotic bird (youll probably hear it, too!). That particular species typically lives 10-15 years. Dr. Bs bird, however, is TWENTY-EIGHT.

We came home from vacation to find our hedgehog very sick and suffering. Called the after hours service who took some information and called Dr. Beth Breitweiser. She called back in no time flat. She was compassionate, honest, friendly and took her time explaining all of our options. I couldnt thank her enough helping us with the horrible situation we were in. She is wonderful! She has always given excellent care to our animals, but she far exceeded any other interactions I have had with other vets on a Saturday night. They even called the next day to see if they could help in any other way. Excellent vet and staff!

Very informative vet! I have brought my reptiles to Dr. Breitweiser and both times have gotten great information about proper care of my pets. She is very knowledgeable about all the different species and does a comprehensive lecture on proper care, diet, housing, lights, everything you need to take great care of your pet. She even draws a picture of tank set up and points you in the right direction to get supplies. I will be returning to Dr.B before I get any new exotic pets just so Im not buying things I dont need from the pet store. Thanks Dr.B for what you do.

I would recommend Dr. Breitweiser to any ferret owner. She is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, honest, and I owe the lives of both my pets to her surgical skills. The negative reviews here seem to revolve around money, but Ive found the vets here to be very up-front about costs. They will quote surgical costs whereas most other vets Ive talked to are very shady about that.

They were so awesome to my Quaker Parrot Laah (la). They were friendly and really helped me with the situation. They even helped show me how to give her medicine and how to hold her properly in doctor situations. Im a novice beginner owner so the info was amazing. Thank you All things Wild. The docs and staff here where very friendly. I took my rabbit there and my rabbit doesnt like everyone but she loved the doc and let her do the exam with no problems. Yes they did try to get me to buy there products but at the end of the day they are still a business!

Took my rabbit in and wasnt eating or passing anything and ph was really off. Our rabbit pulled through after seeing the vet and following her directions. Was a bit on the expensive side but important thing she survived and is healthy today.

The doctor may be knowledgeable but after listening to her complain to her staff about being over scheduled and exhausted, and I was her FIRST appointment today, I just wasnt comfortable having her do surgery on my hen. Ill find another vet.

Dr. B saved my buns life- and he had something very strange going on with him. I truly dont know how she manages it all- she has so much to do and so many "patients." She does an excellent job and Im grateful for her.

Dr. Breitweiser and staff have been wonderful with our bunnies. They are accommodating, flexible, and personable. They also helped us out when we had a baby raccoon needing rehabilitation. Highly recommended!
