The vet at this hospital is incredibly unprofessional. My dog was tested negative for heartworms at another vet in April after treatment. In July she was tested again and was positive at Columbus Animal Hospital. I called with questions regarding my dogs positive heartworm test and he spoke to me in a VERY belittling tone. He had the audacity to laugh at "how positive" the test result was and that the values "werent even close" to a false positive. I would not recommend seeing this vet. He may know a lot about animals but I am not one to put my money towards someone as arrogant and unkind as he. I also had to call the day after the vet said that the heartworm test would be finished because they did not contact me.

I usually goin to Franklin animal clinic, but I live in Columbus and was wanting to get a vet closer, I called this clinic and explained my dog has a ear infection and asked if I could post date a check until I get paid on Friday and her reply was maybe Franklin could service me better! So guess they dont want my business, I will continue going to Franklin ,they care about your pet and understand some people do live check to check but love their pets and want to give them the best care possible! Its disappointing how I was treated!

By far the best veterinarian office Ive ever been to! When we added our beautiful White German Shepherd, Harley, to the family I knew I didnt want to take her to the last vet we had been using for our previous dog. They were over priced and not friendly. I wasnt referred to this office but Im so happy we stumbled across them and chose them. Prices are fair and reasonable, they explain everything in a way you can understand completely. The vets and their staff are all great and Harley and I both love to visit them!

Im never going back to this place. First of all, they charge a lot - even for items you didnt ask for. Then they lie about it - they pretend like they told me about the options, and when confronted, they deny the conversation you had with them and claim that they wouldnt say such things ... They just argue until you give up and pay for things you didnt ask for. And most important, they dont take good care of your pet - they just want your money.

As a college student and a big heart for my two kittens, Ive never gotten anything but the best treatment, options, and respect from this place and its employees. We switched our previous vet to this one because of these reasons. We recently moved about an hour away from here and chose to keep Columbus animal hospital as our primary vet because Im not sure we could find service and care like this elsewhere.

Everyone here is very caring and compassionate. We had to put one of our dogs down. The price of that was the cheapest in town but dont let that fool you. They treated him very well up until it was time to put him down. A week latter we received a very nice card from the staff that all of them signed and included his paw print and a tuff of his hair. They also made a donation in his name to a charity.

I took my cat there because he wasnt eating or drinking. This was the second vet I had tried and I wanted answers. He was diagnosed, treated, and picked up the same day and was eating within an hour after returning home. Thank you so much for saving my cat.

Doctor Vermillion is the best veterinarian ever. I started taking my cat Huey there over 20 yrs ago. They saved him several times. The clinic is expensive as it is owned by a chain BUT Doctor Vermillion really cares and about all animals!

We found a dog on the highway. They helped with water and snacks while calling the other vet to find the owner. They treated the furbaby like one of their own. ❤️
