If I could give this clinic a 0 star rating I would. Dr. Wallace is an idiot. My puppy was scratching himself to the point of whining and bleeding. She kept telling me it was allergies and kept having me try different foods and giving me different antihistamines. This went on for about a month and she wanted to put him on steroids and was convinced it was food allergies even though he was only 4 months old and food allergies are extremely uncommom for a pup this young. So a rescue shelter to me about a vet in spencer county ky about 50 minutes from where I live (ridgeview is only 15 minutes) and I went, and it the best decision I ever made. The vet looked at him and within 1 minute said "this dog doesnt have allergies, he has a bacterial infection on his skin". He gave us an antibiotic and within 3 days the scratching stopped and never returned. I will never recommend anyone ever to ridgeview.

I was a "customer" at Ridgeview Animal Clinic since about 1988 when Dr. Boone owned the clinic. Dr. Hesse bought it about 15 years ago and I kept taking my cats and dogs there. However, after the third time that Dr. Hesse did not answer an emergency call, I have chosen to go elsewhere. The first emergency I had with my dog who was hit by a car and Dr. Hesse said "give him an aspirin and bring him in in the morning".; the second time was a different dog and I never received a call back after leaving a message with the answering service. The third time was last year when I called concerning an emergency with one of our other pets, and I did not receive a call back at all. When I went to the clinic the following morning with the very sick pet I was told Dr. Hesse "may have been at a soccer game with one of his kids." So, no more with this clinic for me.

Dr. Hesse and staff provided excellent care for my cat Dasher. I had came home to find Dasher not using his hind legs and unable to control his bladder or bowels. I feared the worst, and took him to Ridgeview Animal Clinic. After several tests Dasher was diagnosed with a spinal injury. Nothing I found online had any optimism, and I was preparing to say goodbye to my pet. He spent a few days at the clinic getting IV fluids and steroids and did 6 weeks of steroid treatment at home. Dasher has completely recovered and is back to his normal self. I can not thank Dr. Hesse enough for saving him. I am very lucky to have my cat at home again alive and well. I would recommend Ridgeview Animal Clinic to anyone.

The doctors and staff at Ridgeview are the best Ive ever known. They are compassionate, professional, knowledgeable, very personable and dont make you feel rushed. They go out of their way to help animals, coming to my friends house to pick up tiny kittens that she couldnt care for, that would have died. They cried with me when I had to put my beloved, but ailing, queen cat down. They even sent me a card, with a beautiful verse about letting go of your sweet pet companion, afterward. Ive referred several of my friends and acquaintances to them, and I recommend them to everyone looking for the best veterinary experience for their pets.

My older Yorkie recently had a serious stomach infection, requiring nearly a week of intervention care and several nights in the clinic. The entire Ridgeview staff was wonderful: from the telephone and front desk staff to the technicians and vets. Dr. Wallace was exceptional in her attention and commitment to his recovery, even coming in on her days off to check on him. Jaime and Aubrey were particularly caring, attentive and communicative. Im happy to say that my boy made a full recovery, mostly because of the caring people at Ridgeview. Thank you!

I have been taking my best friends to Ridgeview for 4 years and have always had a great experience. Dr. Wallace is very good at making my pets feel more at ease with their visits. She is very knowledgeable and answers any questions I may have. The rates are reasonable and I really like the packages that they offer. Also use the meds online deals and the cost there is comparable to others that I have tried. I recommend Ridgeview Animal clinic often to others.

This place is amazing. I take both my cat and dog here and they are so sweet to them. Dr. Alexis Wallace, as well as the techs, loves to give lots of treats and truly cares about every animal she sees. She is great about answering questions and is great about looking for alternative treatments besides just medicating. They are also open pretty late so it is very convenient for us rather than trying to squeeze in during the morning hours while Im at work.

I took my cat in fully expecting to have her put to sleep. She is diabetic and her blood sugar level was off the chart. But Dr. Hesse, with his extraordinary optimism and knowledge, convinced me to let him try to save her. It was touch and go for a few days, but within a week I was able to take my cat home, and she is doing well with insulin shots and specially made food. You can trust your pets to this vet! The techs were also friendly and caring.

Office staff was very professional and friendly. My appointment was at 9:30, and by 9:55, no one had seen us. I let the office staff know I was leaving and why The office manager called me the next business day to apologize. She agreed that we should not have had to wait, or that someone should have let us know why there was a wait. I appreciate her calling; that was professional. I had already found another vet, but I appreciated the call.

I originally picked Ridgeview due to their location but Im so glad I did. I can say without a doubt that they saved my cats life. Not only did they discover a lump but the were willing to operate to remove it despite her being 17 years old. She loves the doctors here and even though I moved to Jeffersonville, I will make the drive to continue coming here. If youre looking for quality care for your animals, look no further.

We entrusted the care of our beloved Siamese Cat to Dr. Wallace at Ridgeview Animal Clinic for 7 years. Dr. Wallace is an outstanding veterinarian, who not only clearly loves the animals in her care, but adept at explaining any necessary procedures and treatments to their owners. She and the staff were all very caring and compassionate. Highly recommend.

I had taken my two dogs there for a year, but moved to far away to continue. They are very nice and handle the animals well. They also have a really nice website that gives you the personal information about their current meds the animals may be on or were and when its time to get their shots, which you are also able to update pics of them and other info.

I have been coming here for years and have never had any complaints. The staff is friendly and treat your animals like they are their own family. I love all the doctors and they have always taken very good care of my animals and shown great compassion when I have had to put a couple of them down. I would recommend them to anyone !
