The mental health care doctors do not care about your well being. They tricked me into putting my signature on a form to transfer my records from my previous doctor. Then they send me a bill for 40$, without telling me I was going to be charged. My counselor is rude and insensitive as well as my mental heath doctor. They are trying to tell me how I feel and its not thier position to make assumptions on how I feel and that I need group therapy. I socialize just fine on my correct medications. They dont listen or care how I feel. They took me off my xanax completely. Now I am a nervous wreck and very irritable to everyone and everything. They are causing serious repercussions to my relationships with my husband, family, animals, and friends. I have been taking xanax for almost ten years and they took them away because im too young. I have a serious social anxiety condition, mdd, and ptsd. The facility is disgusting and dirty everywhere. I feel uncomfortable being there. It feels like I might catch something from touching anything in there. The receptionists are rude and quick to get you out of thier face. This is a horrible place to go to. They are always late calling you to the back. I feel that I am a victim of malpractice. I cant eat, sleep, or go number 2 because im so anxious all the time and paranoid to where I cant function in society. I wont be going back. Im getting a second opinion and I might sue if possible. This place is a joke and should be shut down.

If anyone was to ask me, "Should I go to Blackburn Health Center?" I would answer an resounding, "Heck NO!!!" There are so many reasons but I will just go through a few: God forbid you actually get sick, it will take at least 4 days to get an appt.; they have freaking narcotics contracts so if have to go to an ER one day and say they, keyword: prescribe, you something like valium when you are already taking a controlled substance of some sort, then the doc at Blackburn will refuse to give you a script again for violation of a contract; bull crap! Also, do NOT take a chance on running out of heart medicine because it takes 72 hours for them to call it in, if they do actually call it in! So, in conclusion, there is no way that I will ever recomend to anyone that they ever use Blackburn Health Center.

You would be better off going to Auschwitz. The Nazi doctors were more humane than this crowd! At least they werent mouth breathers with their knuckles dragging the floor. Thats Blackburn. You will be sicker when you come out than when you went in, and you will probably have been injured by one of the "nurses" or other staff members who will slam a door on your person or slam the glass window in your face, and of course, its filthy, but none of these people know the difference. The doctors will make you sicker than you ever were, and your labs will be lost or swapped for someone elses, and of course your chart will be lost because no one who works here can read or has enough energy to stop eating and look for it. Like I said, Mengele is Jesus compared to the staff at Blackburn.

It is a shame that to be poor and need help this is what you get . I called to try to get an apointment and I was told o call. Back at 7:30 am the will only take same day appointments . Getting results is like pulling your own teeth . I can not even call and speak with a doctor about my results . And I never receive a call back from the "nurse " . On top of every thing else the people that answer the phones at the clinic treat you like crap . You are in pain and trying to get simple answers and the get condescending . I NEED ANSWERS . They make it feel like I should be ashamed for needing help . Absulitly no human emotion in this place .

Black Burn clinic is not the place but I love my two doctors they are great but the rest sucks you have to call around 7am to get a appointment in but when you do not happening you go though alot if crap not sure why they say 7when they open at 8 then the girls who work the desk to me are Ghetto because they talking about nothing to each other and doing nails and they sit there like they dont see you "IF I CAN GET MY DOCTORS TO MOVE FROM THAT FACILITY IT WOULD BE GREAT other then that maybe I need to CHOOSE ANOTHER PLACE"...

The staff seems a bit unmotivated to deliver the level of customer service that I have come to expect for my $$$, but the professional staff did an amazing job with my care of services. I have read many of the reviews below and find most of them to be accurate. Its disappointing to know that this how some places of assistance are ran in late 2016! I am confident that the future will/has to be brighter for this place!

I love going to Eskenazi Health Center Blackburn I have never had any problems with any of the nurses or doctors. When ever I need something they work hared to get it. The doctors are very good and care about their patients.

They are far more worst then any "clinic" theyre dirty and the doctor told me they only give narcotic pain meds to elderly people I feel like thats not right and I have a history of chronic back pain.

I dont know why people complain about free services!!! be thankful that Eskenazi has this clinics . Blackburn has very good Doctors and good Pediatrics.
