I have been going to this place since it opened. In the beginning it was a wonderful experience. Dr. Anderson was so kind and continues to be. Never once had an issue with him. My issues have more to do with the receptionist and how this place is runned. Like I said when this place first opened everyone was kind and welcoming. I thought I had found the best place to get my glasses. But as the years went on I notice a lack of customer service. For instance I was told by a previous receptionist that if the frames ever break, I wouldnt be charged anything. My insurance would cover that, but if it was a lens issue my insurance only covered one pair of lens a year. Completely understandable. However, one time I encountered the current receptionist and was told "that isnt true". Apparently I was given "wrong information". She informed me that my insurance only covered two frames and one pair of lens. Which wouldnt be such a big deal if their frames didnt suck. The way they put the lenses inside each frame is so wrong. I can see the lens popping. It seems like they literally shove the lens into the frames. This causes the frames to break so easily. Which I dont believe this is the customers fault. Never once have I had this issue anywhere else. The current receptionist is extremely rude. I believe in giving people second chances. Everyone has a bad day. But when I constantly have an issue with this person, from time to time its obviously more than a bad day. If you arent happy with your job, find other career opportunities. The receptionist always has an attitude and never tries to work with me on finding a solution. Her first solution to any of my problems is for me to pay out of my pocket. Is seems like every time I visit, she comes up with a new " policy" that requires me to pay out of my pocket. Another issue is their contacts lenses suck. One time I purchased a pair of trial contact lenses, which were supposed to last me a "month" but a week later I noticed my contacts were going blurry. So the next time I decided to get contact lenses I took advantage of Dr. Anderson deal where if youre a student and have As and Be you can receive a pair of contact lenses that last you 3 months. 3 days after I received my contacts, one of them just ripped completely. I dont think this was my fault. Because I was really careful. I have had contacts before and know how to care for them. I didnt ever bother to get contact lenses again. After 4 years of going to this place, I recently decided to find another place. I wish Dr. Anderson the best. But truely believe he should pay attention to how his customers are treated by his staff.

NEVER GOT MY TRIAL PAIR OF CONTACT LENSES. WAS TOLD I WOULD HAVE TO BUY MY CONTACTS FROM THEM OR PAY $55 FOR CONTACT RX. HOWEVER THEY NEVER GAVE ME THE TRIAL PAIR IN ORDER FOR ME TO KNOW IF MY EYES TAKE TO THE NEW CONTACTS OR NOT. WAS TOLD TO CALL AND SPEAK TO THE DOCTOR AND WHEN I CALLED SHE TOLD ME THAT I WOULD HAVE TO COME IN TO SPEAK TO THE DOCTOR. THE SECRETARY IS VERY MEAN AND IS NOT HELPFUL AT ALL!!!! I received my glasses in a timely manner however the frames are sub-par. I just got them one month ago and they are peeling and very fragile. I will be ordering more from Zenni optical. THIS PLACE IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL EYE DOCTOR I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. SAME YOUR MONEY AND TIME AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE... ANYWHERE ELSE IS BETTER THAN THIS PLACE!!! ITS TERRIBLE!!

The lady at the desk is rude and very unprofessional. Every experience I had rather calling or coming up there she was very rude. She had me on hold for over 5 mins when I called to check if my glasses was ready. Instead of just giving me a yes or no response. I called back to advise she had me on hold way too long, to finally tell me they wasnt ready. I love the experience with the eye dr. But this is my last time going to them for service I will be switching a different eye dr. She was really rude and very unprofessional. When I came to pick my glasses up they was dirty and not clean off and she didnt approach me or greet me. Horrible service! Stay away!

The receptionist is absolutely atrocious. She doesnt follow policy in the slightest and refuses to let you speak to a supervisor. They constantly overcharge me and deny doing it when I bring in my insurance policy. Dr. Anderson is great but he is losing too many customers because of the abomination at the front desk. I gave 1 star because it was the minimum.

I have always had a great experience. Dr. Anderson goes above and beyond when caring for me and my daughter. He takes a true position of caring and even took the opportunity to mentor and advise my daughter about medical school. The receptionist is kind and efficient even when she is super busy!

Beginning to feel like the rest of the customers. over the years the service was great. I was told by staff that the doctor does not speak to patients. Since when? I love to support an African American business but it unprofessional service like this that make you want to go elsewhere.

I have always had a great experience with eye works! Everytime I am there the Doctor and his staff are positive and give me and my children excellent care. The selection of glasses are amazing and all four of us wears contacts and they have work with all our eye needs. Thank you
