I have some moderate spinal conditions and have been a patient of Dr. Dunham for about 5 years. While at the gym about five years ago, I hurt my back which left me barely able to function or walk. I spent a lot of time and money on surgeons, doctors, and a few physical therapists as well as taking pain killers but kept having severe pain (it even hurt trying to walk and sometimes sitting down). Life was becoming unbearable at times. I started seeing a new family doctor and luckily he referred me to Dr. Dunham. With Dr. Dunham I saw pretty quick results and my constant pain started to be relieved. After about 1 1/2 months of seeing Dr. Dunham for chiropractic, some physical therapy, and some massages, I was able to walk and function without too much pain. He also gave me some home based exercises to strengthen weakened muscles. One of the great things about Health 1st is that Im always in and out quickly and can be seen over an early lunch break so I dont have to take extra time off work. I really feel like he is willing to answer all my questions and am very comfortable having him as my chiropractor. I highly recommend giving Dr. Dunham a shot to see if he can help you with your condition. I still see him every once an a while, it really helps keep my headaches and back pain to a manageable level.

This is the place to go for personal care and excellent friendly service. Ive been going here since 1997 and have no need to look for another. Dr. Dave has gone beyond normal practice to ensure my well being. Very knowledgable, understanding and family friendly. As far as "does it work," well, I was rear ended in a car accident and eventually recieved two pinch nerves in my lower back and two pinch nerves in my neck. A friend refered me to Dr. Dunams office where he went regularly. So I went to give it a try. He told me it will be a process, but with regular visits, the pinch nerves can be corrected without surgery. "Without surgery" really got my attention. So I gave him a chance, and it was the right decision. I would refer anyone to this office. The receptionist is very friendly and warm. I recomend that if you have any back problems, dealing with the spine, before going to a doctor that wants to cut on you, visit Dr. Dunams office. I believe that you, like me, will be glad you did.

I am so happy I discovered Heath 1st Physical Rehabilitation. I came in after my knee pain became unbearable. It was stopping me from working out and my passion of dance. Instead of just telling me to stop dancing, or just showing me exercises I could do at home for free, Dr.Dunham used innovative therapy to actually fix the strained ligaments in my knee. He is friendly, caring, and intelligent in many fields of medicine. I felt completely at ease with him during sessions. I am also very grateful that the price did not kill my bank account; the price was very affordable. After about 5 sessions, my knee is feeling better than ever. I am able to all my workout activities, including running, and all my dance activities with little to no pain. I plan to visit Dr.Dunham at least once a month now for maintenance. I dont think I could have had a better physical therapy experience. And now that Dr. Dunham is becoming or is an RN, I will most likely visit him for other medical needs as well!

Never been so disrespected or even treated so rudely by the lady at the front desk. Then the therapist ( the owner) himself came in the waiting room with the same manner. My husband had forgotten his paperwork I offered to fill it out while he was being treated. Not to mention they already had what was requested by the doctor and all the work mens comp info so they would have been paid. " Im the owner you dont know how to follow the rules (about paperwork) and you are not or will be a patient of ours". Would not recommend this place to anyone. I was asked to leave so I did. Waited in the car for them to still repeat the same to my husband about paperwork and to leave his property. He also stated he was going to call his workmans comp and tell them he refused treatment as he clear didnt, they refuse to treat him. I would give them negative stars if it would let me.

I asked my daughter to find a chiropractor for me and she hit the jackpot with Dr. Dunham. From the moment my husband & I walked in we felt welcomed. Fadia (spelling) the receptionist is great and Dr. Dunham is absolutely amazing. I have suffered from back pain and leg pain for years and have spent thousands of dollars with no relief. I felt a significant difference after my first visit and I every week Im better. If youve tried other treatments, medicines or even other doctors then you have nothing to loose. Dr. Dunham has been an answer to my prayers and I highly, highly recommend him. J.Caballero

Dr. Dave is not only a very caring doctor he is a genuine person too. His staff is excellent and very caring. Thank you Fadia! I am very thankful for the physical therapy that I received while under Dr. Daves care. When I came to him after my total left knee replacement (3 weeks out) I was barely able to walk and was very depressed about my situation. Dr. Dave evaluated me and set my therapy up to meet my needs and listened to my concerns and complaints. Each session he would modify my therapy to help me with any new issues that I was experiencing. Within 2 weeks I was making progress and before I knew it, no walker, no cane and now I am and have made great strides. Thank you Dr. Dave for having faith in me and helping me get my life back!
