The staff are very educated , very friendly, extremely caring, considerate , explain everything so that anyone can understand what needs to be done to your pet/family member and why. You can tell that the people there really love their job plus the love they have for animals. I started using them going on 12 years ago when my son was given a beagle mix puppy and they were always so good with her that she didnt mind having to go to the Dr. Last summer they worked really hard on our dog when she suddenly became ill. Trying things to make her better and when it got to the point that she needed additional care and testing they helped to set all of that up for me. I ended up losing her shortly after her sudden illness and they were effected by my dogs death as well. There was no way that they could have been making up their emotions when I went in to let them know. Almost all of them had been there for her since she started going there

I was going to another vet with my baby girl Tala, and the other vet would not listen to me at all. They kept telling me that she was fine, when it was apparent that she was not. The straw that broke that camels back was when a growth on her belly burst. I then took her to see Dr. Lory at South Side Animal Hospital. I have been going there ever since. Everyone on the staff is great, and listens to my concerns and worked with those concerns. I trust them greatly and will continue to go to them - even while I am living clear across town from them. It is well worth the trip for doctors and staff that cared. Not to mention my dogs loved going to the vets!

I had a great experience at South Side Animal Hospital. We had recently moved to the area when our maltese starting coughing up blood. They were able to get us in within 2 hours for a visit. They were helpful and professional and explained everything very well. After an injection of antibiotics our little pumpkin had no more problems. I was expecting the worst when it came to the bill but the prices are very reasonable and they made sure to cover all the bases. Very happy with our new vet!

Just saying

I have always loved this clinic and been a loyal customer for years. I dont know what has changed but when I called with a sick pet today they would not see it for 8 days. I told them I was a regular customer and my pet is not feeling well, needs seen before then and they said they cant fit him in. Suggested I go to another clinic or wait and see. Wait & See - absolutely uncaring. After over 20 years of coming here, I will be moving on. Now to try and get my records argh

I have been taking my Dogs here Since I moved to the south side 9 years ago. I initially picked them out of the phone book because I had to get my older JRT looked at quickly and my old vet could not get him in. I have gone there ever since. The kindness and compassion I have received from them in times of need are immeasurable. I have always felt my that my pets health and safety come first with them. The entire staff is helpful and able to answer question.

I can never say enough good things about the entire staff at SouthSide. They have been there for my fur baby from his first vet visit up until we had to say goodbye. Their great care kept him healthy for over fourteen years when he had many, many health ups and downs. You wont find more compassionate people who truly care about pets.

I love s.s.animal hospital and all of its staff. Im been taking my pets there for over 30 yrs. to me they are the best and kindest people. Last wk I had to put my Rottweiler Zena down she had cancer. South Side Animal Hospital is the BEST! they have taken care of my Molly for 13 years and she Miss Molly is NEVER scared to go there - from her emergency surgery ( she ate yarn) to routine visits - she loves the staff and so do we!! Thanks Dr Jones ! Dr Evans and DR Clark for taking great care with our dog!

Ive been taking my puppy here since October 2010. The vets are all friendly and the rest of the staff is very nice. Its nice to find a vet office with docs who are personable. I wont be taking my animals anywhere else.
