If I could give them no stars I would. I took my animals there for years. Had a few issues from the beginning but never enough to not return when needed. In 2016 my dog got cancer. After some failed attempts to remove the tumor we decided to amputate the leg. Long story short he had the surgery on a Friday they released him back to us in a blood soaked white bed sheet on Saturday. And he died within 2 hours of being released from their care from extreme blood loss. I can never get my dog back but I will tell Bruisers story to anyone who will listen so his death will not be in vain. Maybe someone will read this review and decide to take their dog somewhere else. To a vet that is honest. Someone who wouldnt release a dying dog to owners without explaining how bad he was. Someone who would be more worried about the life of their patients rather than getting out of the office by closing time. To a vet that actually cared.

We have been to a handful of clinics in the area, and have never liked one as much as we do Hillside! The facility is large and clean. The services they offer are amazing. For example, you can sign up for a dog trainer who comes to the clinic for training. The doctors we have seen have been caring and intelligent. They have a large, separate building for the grooming and boarding. They have late evening hours, which work with my familys schedule. The one "con" is that their prices are a little higher than weve paid at other places, but it is worth it to me, to receive the quality of care that we do when we visit. I am so happy we made the switch to Hillside!

My dog was seen by Charlynn Brandt. I left the appointment feeling extremely dissatisfied. This Veterinarian never touched my dog. She ordered blood work and prescribed antibiotics but never examined my dog! Actually, she never even acknowledged his presence. We went to another veterinarian several weeks later when he did not improve. During her initial examination she felt a growth in his abdomen. More tests and an ultrasound confirmed he has cancer. I can completely understand a misdiagnosis however a misdiagnosis because you fail to do a thorough exam is simply not acceptable.

This use to be a good place to take your pet, yes theyre courteous and friendly to you but it isnt about the pet its about the money. Mine has an emergency and was told I could bring him in to be checked but cant do anything today and the cost just for seeing him is $75. I will never take another pet here or suggest anyone else to. If you care about your pet and want a vet that will care about your pet please find some lave else . Im taking mine to blackstinmill rd from now on.

I come here regularly, sometimes the wait is ridiculous, some of the front desk people could be a little more helpful and let people waiting know they have had emergencies come in, that way people could reschedule instead of waiting for over 90 minutes.They are very good at what they do

I appreciate the time and amount of care they give. I was in there today for Quilas (key-la) 2 week check up after surgery. (She is doing well) but Allie was just amazing with explaining things and made me and Quila feel at home. See you in 4 weeks!

They are a helpful, friendly staff who has taken good care of my lovely little fur baby when I take him there. They made sure everything was done properly during his surgery when he got hurt and have helped me be a better kitty mommy.

Super service and followup. Our cat spent a few days there for an infection, and we got a call everyday with his condition. Staff is friendly and caring and prices are reasonable.
