I travel from Illinois to come here for my dental needs. At my prior dentist, I was told that I needed periodontal cleaning and my previous hygienist was rough and made me feel like a failure and scared me to death that I was going to loose my teeth. Amber reviewed my X-rays and took time to explain the situation, recommended treatment options and then focused on us moving in a positive direction to improve my dental health. All of the staff are so friendly and caring. Amber is an amazing hygienist. And the services cost less than my previous dentist. Wouldnt go anywhere else!!!

I hate going to the dentist. Correction I have always hated going to the dentist until today. Today I visited Dr. Yowells office for the first time and have never left feeling so comfortable. The dentist chair you sit in has a massager, they have earphones so you can watch TV while the assistant cleans your teeth (Mary did an excellent job by the way) and Dr. Yowell was very gentle when assessing my teeth. The word Impressed does not due justice to how I felt when I left the dentist today.

My children and I have been going to Dr. Yowells office for the past four years. My children look forward to going to the dentist. The staff is always wonderful! They address any concerns in a professional and personal manner. From the moment we walk in the office, we have always felt very welcomed and at home. The hygienists and Dr. Yowell do a thorough examination. I would highly recommend this office to others.

Dr. Yowell has been our family dentist since he came to Iowa City. My daughters are now grown adults with children of their own and they still visit Dr. Yowell for their dental care. The office staff is so pleasant and scheduling with Stacy is a breeze. Love this practice and my healthy teeth.

Weve been to a variety of dentists in the Iowa City area and never found the right fit for us. My children and I have a lot of anxiety concerning dental visits. That all went away with Iowa City Dental Health and Dr. Yowell. They are absolutely the best dental office around!!!!! :D

Very easy scheduling, staff is nice and friendly. Needed a cavity filled and it only took 30 minutes from check in to checkout. You get to watch and listen to the while Glenn works, so it distracts you from the sound, if thats something that bothers you.
