Smith frequently missed appointments, and I was driving in from out of town. I was seeing him because I was trying to cope with the death of my father, but the fact that I routinely wound up staring at the locked door of his office just served to worsen my mental state, rubbing salt into the abandonment issues I was dealing with. If youre a professional and going to take even a little responsibility for the mental health of others, at least show up. I eventually just stopped going. I have never been able to bring myself to see another mental health professional after this experience.

Mr. Smith is a great listener and is able to give helpful and informative feedback. He is goal oriented in his sessions and encourages goals to be made that are measurable. Mr. Smith creates a positive environment in his office and it carries outside of his office in the encouragement that he has been able to give. Mr. Smith is friendly and affordable with his sliding scale fee.
