Our family contracted with Senior Helpers of Northern Kentucky for more than four years and we were very satisfied not only with the Caregivers, but also with the agency and its policies and procedures. The Caregivers we encountered were well-trained and professional in skills, manner and dress. We were fortunate that Senior Helper NKY’s policies made it possible for us to have one main Caregiver scheduled for the care of our mother, once it became apparent that one special Caregiver was the most compatible. This consistency in our mother’s care definitely enriched her experience with in-home care and, we believe, is a testament to the ethos of true compassion that Senior Helpers NKY exhibits in its service to families. In addition, Senior Helpers NKY made sure other Caregivers were trained to cover vacations or days our main Caregiver was not available. Senior Helpers NKY’s procedures ensured that schedules were covered. Coverage was extremely good and very flexible. (The first agency with which we contracted had a no-show on our first day with that agency and the agency didn’t know until we called.) Senior Helpers NKY’s good communication protocol (phone, text, daily reporting) among the agency, the Caregivers and the client/family enabled quick and timely responses to any changes in hours, locations or daily schedules. The services provided by the Caregivers and agency greatly enhanced and extended the quality of our mother’s life as her health declined. Their support allowed her to stay at home and with family until she passed away. We would highly recommend Senior Helpers of NKY for anyone who wants to remain at home but is unable to do so alone.

I was grateful for the care provided by Senior Helpers during my husbands illness. They were sensitive to my husbands feelings and his physical needs and made certain to "match" him with the caregivers who would be best suited for him. They were extremely flexible which allowed me to schedule time for my own appointments and help me avoid being overwhelmed by the constant stress of being a full-time caregiver. Thanks Chris and Sherry for providing extra peace of mind during that time.

Senior Helpers of NKY has been assisting with caregiving of our elderly mom for the past 8-9 months.
