Very Poor. Ive found nothing worthy of recommendation for Fidelity. My medical supplies were often incorrect and late. They would repeatedly deliver supplies I didnt need and not deliver what I did need. The nurses were unreliable, always changing appointment times, and very poorly trained - improperly changing dressings and leaving me vulnerable to infection even when I showed them the manual from the manufacturer detailing how to do the procedure safely. Their customer service department is equally dismal, and when I complained about the lack of proper training and refusal of the nurse to change the dressing safely they discontinued their services. I urge consumers with home medical needs to stay away from Fidelity. They cant be trusted to take proper medical care.

Getting your home health visits scheduled with this agency is an absolute joke and adds a level of frustration that no one should have to deal with. I never even saw the nurse I was assigned and was seen by a different nurse every single tine. Even though my treatment was supposed to be on the same day every week, I constantly had to follow up because I wouldnt get a call confirming my visit and when I did, they would tell me they could only fit me in late at night (after 10 pm) which doesnt work for someone that has to be at work early in the morning. The nurses are great when you finally get them to come out but getting the visits scheduled is a nightmare. Their current practices definitely needs a complete overhaul.

I had care for my daughter from Fidelity Health Care. She needed IVs, and she was able to get them at home instead of the hospital. The Fidelity nurse came out at night to start the first IV and showed me how to use the IV pump. She was really nice and only had to stick my daughter once. Then she came out the next morning to make sure everything was going ok, which it was. My daughter got much better after the IVs. We were both put at ease by the nurses skill and her friendly approach. I had to call the office once for help with the pump and they answered my question right away. I hope we all stay well, but if we need care again, well call Fidelity Health Care.

I concur with the 12/20/09 opinion - I think that 2 news would love to do a story on this "Patient Choice...Lost in hospital Choice" This is not the only one... Kettering Hospital does the same thing and they send letters to nursing homes threatening them that if they dont discharge "their" patients to their home care company, they can say good bye to any further admissions. Or they send their patients to a sister Seventh Day Institution - Bookdales and override Oaks of Kettering because they are not Seventh Day Adventist... what happened to quality care, choice - whatever...it is about the almighty dollar and helping their own! Then nurses are wonderful. Was told insurance would cover the visits, then I received two bills, and every time I sent in a payment the next bill would have a different amount every time I receive it. I finally got a mad and called to get my pay off. I think that is what they wanted. But I will not go back to them ever again. They need a better way of doing the accounting part. I had to talk to two different people. That is a real pain in the butt. My rating is ZERO. I tried to send without clicking on a star but of course Fidelity would not let me post with out at least one star. Another way of ripping off the public.

This operation only stays in business because when you are discharged from Miami Valley Hospital you are steered to Fidelity Home Care. This is an illegal practice. Any attempt to contact social workers at Miami Valley Hospital ends in rejection. This has went on for years and now the investigation will begin. If you or a loved one are being discharged from Miami Valley Hospital please take note the only real option you will be offered is Fidelity Home Care. Ask about other options they might tell you your second option is Fidelity Home care. Dont be Steered pick your own company!

My husband had knee replacement surgery in 2007 at Good Sam. They were supposed to set up home care with Fidelity. They either didnt or Fidelity didnt, but it took several phone calls before we finally got someone there with the CPM machine and then over the next few weeks, the service/care went downhill from there. Nurses/therapists came out unprepared, without supplies and were no help when he developed blood clots. I would never recommend Fidelity or Good Samaritan Hospital to anyone! We have since gone to Kettering Hospital. What a difference!

Getting a "straight answers" about your benefit regarding c-pap and mask payment is a confused nightmare. They dont explain how much of your benefits apply to new equipment, nor what a full charge would be. Then the non-itemized bills begin to arrive and one is left with confusion over what you really owe and what insurer should pay. I cringe whenever I need a life-saving mask or machine!

I never received my products from them..they said someone signed for it, but there are only two people at My residence and neither one of us were home at the time of delivery... I only get one mask a year and now they wont replace my oder..Very like customer service if you ask me... Will go else where since I now have to pay out of pocket for my life sustaining CPAP MASK.

The lady in charge of scheduling is totally unprofessional and rude....should not even be allowed to deal with the public.....note! (The nursing staff is wonderful)
