I wanted to write a big THANK YOU to all of the staff of Amedisys. When our grandmother was suffering, they were there. When our grandmother needed assistance, they were there. When there was no one available to visit at the Brian Center, you guessed it....they were there. It was the holiday weekend and one of the nurses from Amedisys was on their way home, when they stopped to "make rounds" of the patients they had previously cared for. When they got to our grandmothers room, the nurse came in and visited for a while. It was so nice to see that type of care given to a past patient. The nurse even helped to do her hair for the holiday meal at the center.....which I believe was in her bed. There would be no one to see how wonderful she looked......but our grandmother knew. She knew that the nurse was there to see her. It was so comforting to our family that they would even do this. I only was able to get a first name, after prying it from a nurse at the center. I only know you as Jill, but I wanted to thank you for the extra effort you put fourth for our family. We are forever indebted to you and will keep you in our prayers.

Absolutely horrible experience. My husband is home bound and has a midline which was installed to facilitate IV antibiotics and anti fungal meds prior to a complicated surgery which is to take place in two weeks. The nurse sent out to do a dressing change pulled over two inches of his line out of his arm while removing the bandage. I had to shout at her to stop or she would have pulled out the entire line. She was so inept that I had to intervene on behalf of my husband to complete the bandage removal while protecting the midline. I then ran a saline flush to insure that the line was still operable. She could not break open the antiseptic cartridge so I had to do that for her in order to clean around the wound site. She did not wash her hands prior to beginning this and only put on the sterile gloves after the bandage was removed and the site completely exposed. I called Jill Roland and she defended her nurse and then lied to our doctors office about my husbands physical activity in order to cover their poor staff. If I could have rated them a zero I would have done so. I would never use them again under any circumstances.

I currently work for Amedisys in Canton, GA and I am extremely proud to work along side so many people who genuinely care for our patients. I absolutely love the teamwork our office portrays. They will go above and beyond to make sure the quality of care is met for our clients. Jill Roland - our Director of Operations - is a beautiful soul with a huge heart! She will make sure all patients are admitted timely and she will personally go visit them herself if needed. She holds our team to high standards making sure all rules and regulations are followed. I love our Amedisys Canton office! *I have nothing to gain by writing this - I just want everyone to know I would personally choose this Home Health Care Agency to provide care for my loved ones. <3

Absolutely the worst and most unorganized home health care experience we have ever had they miss our visits dont bother to call and inform us they are not coming push the visit 2 or 3 days out from when they are suppose to be, i call them expecting answers and they play the blame game oh so and so moved it or this happened ect. This has happened numerous times with us and I hate to see it on people who need the care worse.
