Home Instead cared for my grandfather, who has dementia, for a little over a year. Eventually, my Grandfather required more care and we had to move him to an assisted living facility. However, Home Instead made this difficult transition period much more bearable for us. Honestly, they returned our lives to us for that year. Before Home Instead stepped in to help us, my mother and I were doing it on our own. After Home Instead came into the picture, my Grandfather was able to return to being just a father and a Grandfather to us instead of a patient; my mother was again able to be just his daughter; I was able again to be just his granddaughter. (Wed been his caregivers for so long, this was a much welcomed change.) The Caregivers were absolutely a Godsend. They not only stayed in touch with us while caring for Gran-Gran, but they also kept extensive notes on any changes with his health and they clearly cared about him on a personal level. This was apparent in how they addressed him and looked after him. This may be due to all of them having come from backgrounds caring for their own family members or its possibly because Home Instead is very selective. Either way, we couldnt have done all of this without them and we felt a much needed comfort with them in the picture. Also, I have to add Iggy Gomes - on more than occasion - went above and beyond for my Grandfather. He showed a reverence and respect towards him that was simply beautiful, that I imagine he wouldve shown his own Grandfather. He sometimes stayed with my Grandfather if there was a need for it and no other caregiver was available. This was rare, but it happened. It was his approach to my Grandfather that so moved me. If you need a professional caregiver for your loved one? I highly recommend Home Instead Senior Care. Theyre dependable, professional and genuine.

Everything about our experience with Home Instead Senior Care has been excellent. Home Instead has been assisting us with the care of my parents for over 9 years now. The help and guidance from the Home Instead administrative staff, and the loving assistance the caregivers have provided, has allowed us to keep my parents here at our home, rather than in an assisted living or nursing home. My mother had Alzheimers and passed away nearly 6 years ago. The caregivers were so kind and patient with her. My dad is now 93. The Home Instead caregivers take him wherever he wants to go...out to breakfast, to get a haircut, to the library and even to the grocery store to pick up special treats. They tidy up his room and bathroom with light housekeeping chores and they never tire of listening to his jokes and stories. He always looks forward to their visits. What a blessing Home Instead has been to our family!!!

Home Instead Senior Care has been helping take care of my parents for the 18 months. They are a very professional company which focuses of hiring the best caregivers with great attitudes to assist in taking care of seniors. Their caregivers are exceptional. Their communication back to the family is exceptional. Their flexibility in accommodating issues around senior care is also exceptional. We used other Care Companies initially, but were not thoroughly impressed until we found Home Instead.

The five caregivers who rotate taking care of my parents all seem to genuinely care about them and enjoy taking care of them. I really appreciate the flexibility when we need to change the schedule for various reasons at the last minute. Office Staff is very involved and on top of every issue that arises. I can call and reach someone at any time. I am very comfortable that everything we discuss will be taken seriously and the directives carried out.
