Amy Sipple, the manager of Home Instead in fort Mitchell, was literally was the WORST manager. I got sick at a clients home, called Amy, she told me to go through my clients medicine cabinet and find some medicine to take. I didnt. Another time, I had an allergic reaction to something, I called Amy, she told me to stick it out. Stick it out while Im breaking out in hives? I had to go to the ER right after I was forced to stay with my client due to Amy refusing to find someone to come out To cover my shift. The staff at home instead do not care about their caregivers. Do NOT ever work there. Do NOT ever let your family members go there. Their training sucks. Theyre the worst caregiver place to work for. I will never Go back. They start you out at 9 dollars an hour. Well, one of my clients told me theyre paying home instead 20 an hour, for us to only get 9 was ridiculous and she wanted to say "screw home instead" and hire me, and pay me the 20 an hour. You have no health insurance, no dental, no type of paid time off, if you miss your client for ANY reason they talk about firing you. You could literally be in the hospital and theyll still talk about firing you. Worst place to work. Take my advice and do not go!

Renee was our care giver and she was timely, kind, good and progressed our care at home. Every day when she came to provide support to the family and our mother, she had a plan of care that move things forward. I was incredibly impressed and the price was a bargain for this valuable service! Thank you!

Ive been using Home Instead for my mom for 4 months. They have been a wonderful company to deal with and have some great caregivers. Recently they helped with my mom while I was on vacation. They were so accommodating when we missed our flights and ended up getting in later than expected. I never have to worry about my mom, I know she is always in good hands.
