I have been connected with Comfort Keepers for almost fifteen years. My mother was a caregiver for ten years and loved helping her clients live a fuller, safer, and happier life at home. She found her calling in life as a Comfort Keeper and experienced fulfillment in her retirement years knowing she was making a difference every day! I joined Comfort Keepers five years ago and serve as the Client Care Coordinator in our West Chester location. I too have experienced a tremendous sense of pride and satisfaction knowing we are providing important solutions to families and individuals who are determined to maintain their independence in familiar surroundings while remaining safe and continuing to have the quality of life they desire. I truly enjoy getting to know our clients and their family members, developing a customized care plan for each individual and helping our Comfort Keepers work interactively to keep them engaged in their favorite activities! We often hear from our clients that they have a very close bond with their caregivers and look forward to every visit. In return, our Comfort Keepers approach their clients as if they were caring for a member of their own family which is part of our mission statement. My parents are both receiving Comfort Keepers services now that they are experiencing some health and mobility challenges of their own. They love the new technology Comfort Keepers now offers called grandPad! Its easy to use, offers games, email/messaging, weather reports and most importantly keeps them connected with their family members through picture sharing and live video calls! As you can see, our family has had a full circle long term relationship with Comfort Keepers. I have referred so many of my friends and neighbors who are not sure where to turn when issues arise quickly and care is needed right away. We are an older couple with my wife declining due to Alzheimerso. He has had a cross disposition that can also be very pleasant at times. We were able to try three care-givers to get just the right match. The one we got could not have been more perfect. The first day one showed up my screamed and cried for three hours. But the fight ended with th3 care giver we have now. My wife looks forward to her visits every time. The Care Givers supervisor, scheduler and care giver have all been outstanding over several months we have had their service. Theyou all earn a 5 star rating!
