Employs a Doctor who told me during labor, "Im not listening to this, youre getting a csection". I was examined roughly (hard enough to move me up the bed) and treated worse than cattle. Of course Id be moaning! I was crying at that point and so kept requesting MY doctor, but sadly they were unable to be there. I requested the privacy of no one except my husband and they disregarded, allowing his parents into the room. A huge mess ensued as I tried to get them to leave and was yelled at, so ended up on oxygen before the nurses finally made them to go. My husband was told to go have a smoke or walk. While alone, something was added to my IV. They refused to tell me what and I had requested natural birth. They asked me to sign papers that I couldnt concentrate enough to read. I kept asking for my husband to be able to look at them and was told I had to sign them. A doctor showed up for an epidural for the forced cesarean and I was told to bend over and not to talk. I tried to tell them Id had a wreck and was snapped at. They threatened to leave. I cried out in pain (felt like my hips were being pulled from my body) and was told I was a baby. They started taking me to surgery as my husband returned. He was furious they sent him away. After surgery, he left to be with our child. I was alone being sewn up. The doctor sewed half of me and a nurse or student the other half. I requested that I be fully sewn by the doctor only and was told they needed the practice. Then I was wheeled to recovery. It was dead silent. I was the only patient and there were two workers. I was so nervous and afraid and tried to talk to them. I was told to be quiet and rest as I wasnt there to be talking. I told them they didnt have to be rude, I was just afraid to be alone and afraid to go asleep. They refused to get my husband. Ill never forget the entire experience as it forever haunts me. Our child has delays which well always wonder if are related to the experience. Ironically, a couple years prior Id had another child with MY doctor and they were exceptional by allowing me a natural birth and treating me kindly by even asking for permission before touching me or doing anything to my body such as an episiotomy. Its entirely plausible not to judge a facility based upon the failings of one doctor and present staff, but there should be stronger regulations to prevent my experience. I never want any woman to go through what I did! Also, one of my children developed an infection in a wound theyd hidden from us. The doctor on call discussed lancing with a scalpel in front of my child, who then proceeded crying in fear. The doctor got angry at my child for what was caused by their lack of bedside manner. Please TJ, get it together. Youre the only choice for our community and this review does not represent the abilities of employees or all departments as most are not deserving of a negative review.

Well me and my husband went here and because of the horrible doctor there who didnt even clean a open wound my husband could have easily lost his leg we took him to another one in TN where er doctor there said the doctor in Glasgow didnt deserve to call herself any kind of doctor. Had we not taken in to the second one he sure would have lost his leg. This place sucks and when I had vaginal bleeding and I have no uterus she did no exam at all said go home it would stop in few days. Needless to say I ended up in a different er and issue way more complicated. Dont go there they are horrible place try to kill people

THE WORST ER IN THE ENTIRE COUNTRY. WHERE DOES ANYONE TAKE A HEART PATIENT WITH A PACEMAKER AND SWELLING AROUND THAT AREA AND I COULDNT GET SEEN SO HEADING TO MY NEAREST VA FACILITY. Time to move when your health care is based on how you look verses taking care of patients.And they are the only ones in town Sad day in the medical field. Let them tell it they only have 1 nurse for the ER as big as they are I doubt it. I WILL NEVER BRING ANYONE IN MY FAMILY TO ANYTHING TJ SAMPSON AGAIN

Worst and most incompetent staff I have ever dealt with in my life. Nobody wants to help you and if they have to help you, they are rude with you and act like you dont know anything. The best thing for this place is to shut down, hire new staff, and open back up. Same goes with the Pavilion. I refuse to step foot in any TJ Samson facility, and will not take my family here. I will drive the additional 20 minutes to Bowling Green any day, rather than deal with these people!

Had my experience with the pediatrics unit. Although the nursing staff was nice and polite, the rooms leave much to be desired. What parent do you know that would just drop their child off and leave? There wasnt a place provided for the parents to sleep. Then the cribs... how about update? Dinosaur cribs. Shouldnt safety be first?

My problem is with the labor and delivery staff...theyre rude as hell and very disrespectful ( not all but most) and I think its bs that no kids over the age of 12 can go in the room at anytime unless they are the kids of the mother to be...

If you are on medicaid or medicare you might die in the ER....if you are part of the rich class of glasgow/barren county you get service first...it is no longer OUR community hospital...we should remove the community charter from them...

Had to stay for 3 days and I have to say couldnt ask for nicer people. Anytime I needed anything or had a problem they were right there. 5star rating from me and I would highly recommend.
