Absolute worst clinic Ive ever dealt with. I had been a customer since 2007- I bought a friends barn cat in for emergency tx. They told me $300 to save it or $150 to put down. So we told them to save it- and $800 later I had a new cat. Before that I rescued a pound kitten when my husband was deployed over Christmas- it became ill from the vaccinations it received there. When it became ill I took it back to them for emergency treatment and it died. They not only charged me the vaccinations, they also charged me hundred dollars of emergency treatment following the vaccinations, and then a body disposal fee. I paid everything, never arguing or expecting a break even though I felt in my heart that they were responsible for the illness that caused its death. The last straw was when I purchased horse vaccines before I left the state for school- with cash. Two years later, I came back and used them again --- and their accounting still showed I owed $ from the two years previously. So I explained to them to check their accounting, that clearly it was a mistake-- I gave the name of who I gave the cash to. Instead of giving me any credibility, or working out anything with me-- they sent me to collections! The manager then sent me a horrible letter saying what a awful client I was, that I paid late all the time, and a lot of other "jazz" which was not only completely unprofessional, it was plain untrue. They will never get our money again. I will also continue to warn people to take their pets elsewhere. Cadiz Vet and Cornerstone Vet Clinic are both lovely vet clinics within the area for large/small animals and they cost 1/3 the price this worthless place does.

Overall I am satisfied with the care our cat has received, but Skyline is a bit pricey, and I wish the docs would explain things a little more to me (this is my first time owning an older cat). Also, the wait times both in the lobby and in the exam room have always been quite long for me, but part of that is because their doctors go out on emergency calls rather than just staying in the office. The main office staff is very nice and the techs and doctors seemed very knowledgeable and caring. We had to leave our cat there for a good part of one day because they needed to run bloodwork and a urinalysis before they would put our cat under anesthesia for a teeth cleaning, and I was very happy with how often they checked in with me to let me know what was happening even though we didnt end up doing the cleaning that day. Skyline is a very caring and professional office, but again, they often have long waits and are rather pricey (however, I did mention to our doctor how much lower the price of kittys medication was on an online pet pharmacy, and he knocked $10 off the price for me!)

Ive been taking my dogs to skyline since my pups were 8 weeks old, that was 14 years ago. The service, though can be high at times, had always been excellent. And if you are a dog lover or animal lover, you would want to do the best you can for them. The staff, in my experience, has been wonderful to me and my family, especially the day when one of my girls had kidney failure and sadly passed away the 9th of June of this year. The staff at Skyline are friendly, sensitive and knowledgeable and if they are unable to answer my question, they would get someone who could. We have three companions in our family at the moment, one of which is 14, another 9, and one pup 8 months old. As long as Im a resident of this town, I know I can rely on Skyline for my companions well being.

Took my dog in to get neutered. No one told me he needed shots or extra things done. When I made the appt I told them I only wanted the 30 something dollar pain shot. When I picked my dog up after he was done my bill was 273.00! They took it upon themselves to give him shots and others things WITHOUT calling me first to make sure it was OK and go over the price with me! When I talked to the staff they were all rude and not helpful. Kept saying "well he needed shots" and all I wanted them to do was inform me first when I only took him in to get fixed. Very shady business so you better watch what they do behind your back to your pet because Im not the only one they have done this to after I talked to a few other people who have used them in the past!

We were on our way to Florida from Wisconsin. Our Doxie had injured herself in the morning and buy the next morning her back legs were paralyzed. We used our GPS and found Skyline. We had a wonderful experience. We called the clinic and the receptionist told us to come right to the clinic. As soon as we entered we were greeted and taken to a room. Dr. Dougherty saw us right away. He suspected a ruptured disc and an MRI confirmed it. There was a surgeon there that day and she had surgery that afternoon. We were on our way 2 days later, and Dr. D called the next day to see how the dog was doing. We compared the cost of the surgery to other areas and Skyline fell in the mid range.

Charged $159.00 to complete paperwork for an International Health Certificate that was not completed correctly, $75.00 for over nightingale the paperwork, $38.00 for the Health Stamp which was correct. The bill ended up being over $340.00. I got a call from Frankfort saying wrong form had been filled out and they were not given instruction what to do. They did end up giving me $50.00 back and the rest of the money was for looking at the dog that did not need any medications or shots. I ended up with 2 trips to Hopkinsville and a trip to Frankfort or my dog would not have been able to get the paperwork done in time to fly.

the prices are bad, the nurses are snotty and bitchy, and i felt like the doctors didnt care about me. they didnt help my animal, and they ended up charging me for services i could have done at home for free. these are the sort of people that let your dog die and then charge you for housing it overnight. i havent had a single time where ive dealt with them where it wasnt like being spit in the face. take your pets to mansfield.

Staff is hit or miss. Some vets care, others care about lunch and days off. Theyve successfully managed to Not treat two of my animals (no tests, no help) until they were beyond help...never again. Clarksville and Cadiz get my business now and the level of care and price is way better.

My dog loves the employees. They are the only ones that can get her to cooperate to have her nails cut. They are not nervous around her and she is a very large dog. I appreciate the reminders to pick up her heartworm pills and when she is due for a vaccination.
