I went in to have our dog neutered. Upon arrival, I informed the staff that his vaccination records had an issue being faxed and wanted to know what to do as he had just had vaccines 3 months prior. I was informed that the policy was to have records upon checkin or else they would have to be administered again. I said I was uncomfortable with redoing the vaccinations after such a short time and asked if I could call the other office and see about having them sent over. The front desk staff said that would be fine. I called over and had the other office on phone and was told that the offices fax machine wasnt working. Now, Im not sure how calling over to have them faxed wouldve done much good seeing as the fax was broke...but oh well! The other vets office said they needed to come by this office later anyway, and could bring them by hand. Animal House staff said no, they needed it upon checkin. I asked if they could verify with the other vet over the phone and then get hard copy later? No. I asked if I could drop off my dog and come back in 10 minutes with records? No. I asked if I could take my dog with me and come back in 10 minutes with dog and records? No. Too late for that. I understand I didnt have the records in time, and they have a policy in place. That being said, I have NEVER seen a professional office so unwilling to work through an issue. The ONLY acceptable course of action was to redose my dog with vaccines he had just received 3 months ago. No thanks. Ill drive to Evansville or Owensboro before dealing with this office again. Unacceptable.

went in for a checkup to make sure our new dog was healthy, and to get informed about flea medication options. nurse took dogs temperature and left. vet came in, quickly ran a flea comb through one very small part of her back, and immediately proceeded to gave us a sales pitch for the medication he stocks. barely even looked at our dog (she was in the girlfriend lap the entire time), said she looks fine, and went on his way. we were the only people in the place, and we felt very rushed, and feel like we paid for what we already knew from Google searches.

the doctor there for the animals is ALWSOME!!! but the only thing I didnt like was the woman at the front desk who just acted like she cant stand a dog.... other then that the doctor and his assistant was great and friendly and was open to answer any questions we had!! overall we took our pitbull there and after they prescribed her meds and we got home a cpl days later they called to make sure she was improving and doing ok and made sure there was no complications. other then that its a great vet to take your animal.

Over the years Ive had numerous vets (in part to those moving out of town or their practice is difficult to contact anyone within), and Animal House has been the best. Caring, compassionate, and the vet will speak to you personally about your animal, offering ideas, asking questions, explaining what has been done, what could be done, and what perhaps should be done. Youre spoken to as an intelligent person, yet technical terms are explained. A great and caring staff and veterinarian. Highly recommended.

Customer service is non-existent from the receptionist/vet tech. She is excessively rude and and makes zero effort to show any appreciation for customers/clients. If you can look past the receptionist/vet tech, the actual vet is great. That said, not sure how much longer this can be overlooked before we will have to find another vet.....we know several people with this same opinion.
