If you are a female dont see Dr. Roth. If you are male you will be fine, she might listen. Basically told me that I wasnt bathing enough and that my scalp issues and flaky spots on my knees were bacterial. Prescribed a steroid cream and when I said I have had those before years ago from dealing with this problem and I do not like them. They cause my skin to become inflamed and red but doesnt help the issue from repeating! Its keeps coming back. She was feeling under my armpits and motioning toward her groin area asking if I have boils?! No. She said its because you just have sensitive skin and I bet its really itchy in hottubs. No, I am never in a hot tub. I was like this isnt bacterial related! Its psoriasis and I dont want to have to keep coming back for topical treatments! She said it would be "malpractice for her to prescribe me a long term use internal therapy". No lady, it would be cheaper for me and easier for you to listen to the person who has been dealing with this issue for YEARS. So rude. Doesnt listen to your symptoms and has a perceived opinion.

Everyone was really friendly upon coming into the office. The doctor I saw seemed very friendly and was kind but once my appointment started it seemed she just wanted to get it over with. Payed to see her for maybe 5 minutes for my long standing eczema and hyperpigmentation due to my darker skin. Prescribed a steroid like every other dermatologist Ive seen but I had to be the one to suggest an allergy test and non steroid options. I felt more educated on causes and treatments of the topic than she was. She wasnt concerned with solving the root of the issue or finding non harmful alternatives as long term use of a steroid is harmful. She referred to my hyper pigmentation as "a mess that they could clean up." Bad experience. Id come back to bluegrass because of the great reputation but Ill definitely be seeing a different Doctor.

A very rainy morning for a 830 first-time appointment. Made it here even thiough Im sick with bronchitis and didnl want to cancel. The address says its on Richmond Rd. My GPS announced that my destination was on the right but there was no way to access the building from Richmond Rd. Had to pull over at the hospital nearby to call them. The nurse insisted they are in Richmond Rd only to admit minutes later they are on another road for traffic access. Got here, and was told that I was at the hospital instead of here, and Im late abd tge doctor cant see me. Would have to be another month to reschedule. Not understanding, not appreciative, wasted my time for nothing . Avoid this place unless you are White, or if you are absolutely desperate and there are no dermatologists left in the city.

John has been seeing Dr. John Bucker for several years and still a patient of his and Krista T., who has been our (husband and me) Dermatologist P.A. since the early 1990s and so glad that she is with Blue Grass Dermatology now. Both Dr. Bucker and Krista are wonderful people to work with and fulfill our needs of understanding our problems with skin cancers and other skin problems. Would not go any other place as we are so lucky to have such a wonderful team of doctor, PA and assistants. Will highly recommend and have. Dr. B has done several MOHS surgeries on John and each time with successful results and we did not have to wait a week or two for the results as lab on site and we had results within 2 hours..

This was my first visit with Bluegrass Dermatology. I had a wonderful experience from the moment I walked in the door. The woman I spoke with at the front desk was very pleasant, and the nurse who took me back to the exam room was equally pleasant. Dr. Roth was an absolute pleasure to work with. She answered questions and did a thorough exam (skin cancer check). She took her time making sure she could check every possible inch of skin for any problems. I was very pleased, and I plan to return annually for my exams and in the interim for any other needs.

New patient. Filled out the new patient setup on their website and a day or two later received a phone call from their office to confirm my first appointment. Arrived only 5 minutes before scheduled appointment time but due to thoroughness of website setup the only item to take care of was a copy of my insurance card. Was in the waiting room for all of 5 minutes before being called back. Nurse and doctor both kind and professional. Doctor offered several treatment options and recommendations to reduce cost of treatments. Very satisfied.

I have been with Dr. Donna Roth since she started practicing in Lexington. I have great faith in her as a dermatologist and I have recommended her to many people. I have also had Mohs surgery under the skillful hands of Dr. John Buker. The Staff at Bluegrass Dermatology are professional, efficient, caring and have a way of making an unpleasant situation comfortable. I must say that this is an outstanding group of professionals.

We had been to another dermatologist who had only offered one option on treatment which was a really harsh one and nothing else. Also, we had to wait for ever. Dr. Blacks office wait times are very short and she is great, she has given us several options for treatment and the one we are using now is working great with no side effects. I would recommend Blue Grass Dermatology to anyone! Great office staff as well.

If you are looking for a no non-sense but friendly efficiently run business to take care of you, then you should trust Blue Grass Dermatology to take care of any problems and keep you healthy. The staff and doctors are very professional and I can say from experience of many procedures (melanoma removal, MOMs and others) that they are a practice on the leading edge of technology and medical service to patients.

I have been going here for many years. I see Dr Roth. Melanoma runs in my family and she is very good at checking my skin. She actually found an area on me that was Melanoma. Lucky for me she found it early. She also has been doing my Botox for many years. She does cosmetic procedures like an artist would draw a picture. Her staff is very good and knowledgeable too.

Love the personal treatment and friendly staff there. My doctor and her assistants seem genuinely happy to see me! They are fast with procedures, never make me wait for appointment times, and are very respectful of the patients financial limitations to resolve our dermatological problems. I cannot say enough good things about them. LOVE MY DERMATOLOGISTS!

I appreciate her desire to keep up with current guidelines as well as keeping an eye out for what is trending towards possible future guidelines.
