Deborah Peyron
My name is Deborah Aubrey-Peyron, MA, CWC, author of the Miraculous Interventions series and evangelist for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. But before I was ever any of these, I was a patient at the Taylor Blvd office--now named Elk Creek. I have been with this office since I was five years old (52 years ago, thanks). It was the infamous bite of Dr. Gunthers finger that led him to say to my parents, "Dont bring her back until she doesnt bite me anymore." Ten years later, I was back in his office--the longest period of time I have ever been away from their doorstep--not to be repeated since. Even when I moved with a new husband, at the age of 21, to Omaha, Nebraska, I kept my dentist healthcare in Louisville at the same office. In my early 20s, I watched as Dr. Gunther handed over his beloved business to James Ransdell, DMD as the keeping of a promise when "Randy" was a young lad. Betty, Dr. Gunthers assistant stayed on for many years to help the young dentist as he learned the ropes of the office. I remember meeting Randy when my first husband and I were living in Louisville. I have to say he was cute with newness to the business! Yet I was never afraid he would ever hurt me--and in 30+ years--he hasnt. I like to tell people we grew up together! I heard his stories as he fell in love with a pretty, tall blond and they married. We had three sons and they had two. For years, we tried to "out story" each other with the antics of our sons as they grew up. Now we catch up their grown lives and accomplishments. Randy and his office saw our family through many sorrows, and blessings. We all rejoiced when I met Mark 19 years ago and he was added to the fold under a little duress. "But I already have a dentist!" "Not anymore! Let me introduce you to your new dentist!" "Dr. Randy, meet my new husband, Mark Peyron!" And so it has been. I have only gone against Dr. Ransdells recommendations once in all these years, and I was the one that was wrong. He will now one day have to fix what I messed up. Uh, he will have to put a new tooth in to replace one I had pulled--I repent now in front of man and God--and yes--I already told Randy I was sorry years ago. With his humble attitude, he smiled and patted me on the shoulder and said, "Its ok, Deb. Let me know when you want me to fix it." I watched the man go through classes after classes, get specialtys and more. Jim wanted to be able to take care of his patients even with the most difficult dental situations. We are proud of him not only as the best dentist ever, but as our friend and caregiver. I recently went through a personal trauma, and felt it even into my teeth. I made an emergency visit with Jim and he checked my teeth and jaw. He knew something very wrong had happened and he listened with tears in his eyes. He even made that "all better". We love you brother. When we go to Elk Creek office, in my heart, it is like going home.

Im a guy who wasnt taking care of my mouth at all, also Im getting nervous to let anyone work in my mouth, I went to two dentists but in the end I prefered to go to Dr Ransdell over the other dentist, of course because the experience that Dr. Ransdell has, beside when I went there I felt that Dr. Ransdell and his staff are my family, theyre too nice and professionals everyone in his/her field, also my wife went with me and after Dr. Ransdell did a great job to her mouth, she was so happy, for someone like me I start smiling again lol and eat ice cream and drink cold water as I like. I trust Dr. Ransdell to do whatever he wants in my mouth because he has good experience, beside that hes polite, respectable, and very funny. After you treat anything with Dr. Ransdell, the second day he personally will call you to check on you and I really respect this so much. I go to Dr. Ransdell with pain then go home very happy with a temporary swollen numb lips lol, of course Im kidding my lips were numb and I felt theyre swollen but they werent. I highly recommend Dr. Ransdell to be your dentist and I promise he will never let you down. I wont forget to say my experience about his staff, very nice people, professionals, and you will feel with them that theyre your family, very good receptionist who will take care of you financially, also an excellent dentist assistant with very good experience will prepare you to get the job DONE. That was my experience with Dr. Ransdell and his staff, thanks a lot to all of them.

Everyone Loves the Dentist Right? Well, you can finally say YES if you give Dr. Ransdell and their team a visit. Ill be honest though...I usually dont enjoy going anywhere that involves a Doctor. Ive been visiting them ever since my first Dentist appointment and its only now that I realize what I have is special. My friends dislike the dentist SOO MUCH that they skip going! Even when their Insurance will gladly pick-up their cost. I willingly go to the Dentist because I know they will give me a good cleaning, remind me to floss (which I never do) and be extra patient with the cleaning that irritates me in multiple ways. They always seem willing to entertain or be less talking - whichever I am most interested in doing (which is very sweet). JaNahn is one of the nicest and most genuine souls Ive ever met. She cleaned my teeth and inspired this review. I also need to say Dr. Ransdell is similar to one of my favorite comedians, but he takes his work seriously. The whole team cares about you. They make continuing dental care an enjoyable and positively memorable experience.

Dr Randy is very passionate and knowledgeable. He works with you to achieve your goals. I have had several Dentists in the past wanting to just do what is easiest for them (most expensive for me!). Others wanted to just pull all my teeth, many teeth were just fine, and do dentures. Dr Randy was able to succeed with my wishes, while also saving several teeth. He shows much compassion for the comfort and care of his patients. His staff are friendly and on top of their tasks. This whole team really has it together! I have always hated and procrastinated with going to the Dentist. Dr Randy and his staff make the whole process stress-free and a breeze.

Dr. Ransdell is a very nice guy. He is very sociable but professional. I would trust him in anything he does, or recommends. I go to his office in Taylorsville, KY. It is a very nice building, with a friendly, professional staff. He is also very funny! I try not to laugh when he is working on my teeth, haha! I ask all my friends what dentist they go to and if they dont go to him, I tell them they should. Then I explain why! I would highly recommend him as a dentist to my friends and family, or anybody who is looking for a professional, friendly dentist!

As an individual who is enrolled in an X-ray certification course, Dr. Randy Randsdell graciously let us use his office. He kindly let us practice the art of taking x-rays on many different machines and fully explained the x-ray image that was processed. I first met him working at the dental van as he is a very involved and donates alot of his time to the Louisville Dental Society. I highly recommend Dr. Randsdell for all your dental needs, as he is a very kind and patient doctor.
