We were in from out of state and had a very sick 14 y/o cat. The front office staff got us an appointment the same morning we called, and Dr. Olson saw us from start to finish, including calling us back to the exam room. The experience ended with the sad departure of our cat, but Dr. Olson was so kind in her approach and explanations of the blood work. The people working there clearly love their job and were so accommodating and compassionate. The physical space has a huge waiting room and the parking lot was also generous in size. You have to drive a bit further out on Broadway but we found it worth the drive. We wanted compassionate people, and a bill we could pay without feeling like we got screwed for being from out of town. Check and check! They were great!

Bangor Veterinary is an excellent practice. All of the doctors are considerate and compassionate. We recently had to have our ten year old labrador, Rowdy, euthanized and Dr. Remington was absolutely one of the kindest souls and she made the experience as comfortable as possible. She let us stay in the room with our pup for as long as we needed to say our goodbyes and listened to us talk about Rowdy and she made him feel so special, giving him lots of comforting pets and treats. She has so much love and respect for animals. I cannot imagine a more graceful conclusion to honor our beautiful dogs life. You are truly a group of kindred spirits! Thank you so much.

Awesome vet. We have been using them for many years. Extremely friendly, knowledgeable staff and very affordable. Both Dr. Richie and Dr. Remington are excellent. Their prices are significantly lower than most other vets in the Bangor area, but the quality of care is outstanding. I highly recommend them.

I have known Dr. Richie for 37 years. He and his daughter, Dr. Remington have a special way with animals. They have saved our dogs and cats lives and gently helped us thru the end of their lives. I cannot say enough good about them. They are genuinely appreciated.
