I visited the clinic when my mother in law had an appointment. I had my 18 month old with me. I just want to say that I have never met a group of healthcare professionals like these people. They were so caring and nice. Add we waited in the waiting room people came and went through doors and down hallways. Many of the employees there stopped and talked to my son and I. One gentleman employee got down on the floor and played with my son and his truck for a few minutes. Another employee, a woman, walked by with a vase full of tulips. My son just had to see her flowers, he loves flowers. She bent down so he could take a look. She disappeared only to come back a few minutes later with a tulip in a cup for him to take home. We now have it planted in a pot waiting for warmer weather to put it outside. I just want to say how humbling it is to know that my veteran family members and other veterans in the area have a place like this available to them. I know they are provided quality care and are treated with the respect they deserve. Thank you for everything you do.

Ive been trying to schedule an appointment all summer. My appointment date was suppose to be Aug 16 at 1pm. I live some ways away from the Clinic and had to bike. (Hour bike ride to and from the VA) I arrived 15 mins before my appointment. The man I go to see says he cant see my appointment in his system. He goes over to somebody else and sure enough my appointment was schedule correctly. Instead he reschedules me the 30 of Aug "at the earliest". I start school September 1st and have no money for my books or anything else. I called him this morning to tell him about the situation Im in. The best he could do was the 25 of Aug. It just seems like Im getting bullied around. I have tried to schedule an appointment all summer. If I dont money in time I may have to be pushed back a semester. Just my luck

This facility does not even deserve one star. My son has been treated so badly that Im ready to call a lawyer. There are those on staff whose level of compassion are on that of Nurse Ratched from "One Flew Over the Cukoos Nest." They are unprofessional, as in screaming at and threatening patients, and retaliatory when loved ones file a complaint. Really bad place.

Ive been utilizing this clinic since I moved to Maine. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I can get appointments within a week. When I show up there is almost no waiting. I cant say enough good things about my experiences so far.
