Last year my girlfriend adopted a dog with cancer expecting it to be a hospice care to give the dog a higher quality end of life. When we picked her up she was rasping from the golf ball size tumor in her throat. We had to physically help her to her feet to go outside and she was the skinniest dog Ive ever seen. After consulting with Jeff and Sue about possible chemo treatment Rachel(said girlfriend) decided to give it a shot. Almost a full year later Gabby has had no sign of cancer, runs over two miles everyday, and is the household policewoman to keep the other dogs in line. Not only would most other vets not even give it a shot with treating such a severe cancer, but I doubt they would have had the success that weve seen. If it werent for Jeff and Sue I have no doubt Gabby would not still be here to enrich our lives. Thank you so much!

Hands down the best veterinary care in the State both in competence & compassion. Our cats are the center of our lives, and weve trusted them to Jeff & his staff for over 20 years. They have treated our four-legged children for everything from the mundane to the extremely rare and serious. More times than I care to remember, their various ailments have required extraordinary time, effort and commitment way beyond business as usual. I cannot describe the sense of relief it is to know that they always get cutting edge care administered by people who love them almost as much as we do!

You guys are Amazing! Dr. Car and Sue were so dedicated to our dogs needs when she was facing the end of her life. It was a fairly unusual case and Dr. Car never gave up on trying to figure out what the problem was and trying to and solve it. The entire staff was so sympathetic and helpful through the final days and assisting Tasia with her journey over the Rainbow Bridge. I cannot give North Windham vet and the staff enough praise and thanks for everything they have done for our family.

We currently have two black labs mixes that are treated here and I cannot tell you how comfortable and fantastic NWVH makes us and our fur babies feel. Sadly we had to put down our family bunny, Bella, last month and just recently we received a letter signed by all the technicians with a personal note from each of them sharing their condolences. This is beyond customer service, this is love for what they do. There are not enough wonderful things to be said about this place.

I moved to Windham and was hesitant to try a new vet for my dogs, but was nearly elated and very appreciative when I went to the North Windham Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Edelbaum was knowledgeable, practical, open minded, and good with my husky lab. I felt very confident in the care and advice that she gave. The staff was warm and willing to do some extra legwork for me. I would highly recommend this vet hospital to my family and friends.

Dr. Carr was very professional and very knowledgeable on the topic at hand during our visit (seizures). Dr. Carr was also very good with the my dog and very interactive with me. Dr. Carr explained everything he was doing and checking for and very informative all around. Dr. Carr answered all the questions we asked and I could just tell that he cared about helping us and my dog.

The people that work at North Windham Vet have hearts of gold and a compassionate professional standard. I had to put my dear pet down after he was diagnosed with a terminal illness. The vet techs were absolutely amazing and the entire set up for this heart breaking journey was so smooth, really taking into consideration the impact this loss has on the owner.

they are very professional & friendly to their 2 legged clients and certainly have a wonderful bedside manner with their 4 legged clients. Although it was my first visit, they all knew my new family member by name as soon as we walked in the door, as the previous owners brought her there as well. The staff are all wonderful! Ive been bring my pets here for about 18 years:) In my opinion they go above and beyond to help your fur baby feel better when they are sick. They are also awesome in giving you advise to keep your pet healthy. If you are looking for someplace to take your pet this is a great choice.

great job handeling my dog when he went to have a tumor removed. They treated him just like a human beiing and comforted him the whole the way through and did a even better job helping during his rehab stay. they are great with animals and are tremendous pet doctors and recomend them to anyone in need of a vet.

north windham veterinarians took such good care of my pets. They helped nurse my kitty gemma back to health when she broke her leg :(. They are the best in windham and I highly suggest bringing your beloved pets here for checkups and for major emergencies. Love them and will come back if anything happens again.

The staff is friendly and helpful and were more concerned with educating me instead of judging the care of my animal under the care of other vets in the past. A wonderful visit and the prices are always reasonable.

The spaciousness of the facilities is one of my favorite things about North Windham. They will not sell you something you dont need either! The receptionist was very cordial and friendly, ready to assist us. The staff was also kind and understanding.
