I came to Dr. Weng for an emergency dental extraction due to an infected root canal from a crown that was leaking. I called and he was able to fit me in for an appt ASAP. The office was easy to find, plenty of parking spaces outside. When I got to the place, even though the staff was at lunch, the front desk acknowledged my arrival and took in the papers I had filled out prior to coming (FYI, it is also awesome that they text you AND leave a voicemail to remind you of your appointment for someone so forgetful like me) and told me to make myself comfortable while waiting. The waiting area was chic and comfortable, there were free mini bottles of water and Kuerig coffee in the waiting area. Unlike most places, Dr. Weng saw me immediately. The office is clean, new, and equipped with state of the art technology. I have had PLENTY of extractions and root canals done on my teeth before and I have always dreaded the injection and there soreness in the areas after the injection. Dr. Weng made sure I was comfortable prior to making the injections. During the procedure he made sure I understood and was aware of everything he was doing (sometimes while sitting there, you wonder what they are doing because you cant see anything and it can be kind of scary). To my surprised, the injections were almost painless and was not like my previous experiences. I had a pretty difficult extraction, the chronic infection has caused my tooth to fuse to my jaw bone. Dr. Weng explained that it may take a while before before and during the extraction so that I was aware of everything. Finally after the procedure was completed, the staff and Dr. Weng made sure I was aware of how to care for my teeth and answered all my questions. They even packed me a goodie bag to go! The real test came after the numbing shots wore off....it has been day 2 and I only had to take the pain medication 1-2 times. I did not have as much pain as before despite the fact that it was a difficult extraction. I definitely had a wonderful first time here. I am from the Gaithersburg area and would come ALL THE WAY to White Marsh to be taken care of by Dr.Weng, he is definitely worth the drive. I will be seeing him again for my implants in a few months. Will write another review of the experience.

I cant begin to tell you how grateful I am to dr santos, Linda and the front desk staff for going above and beyond when I was in unbearable amounts of pain!! I needed an emergency root canal, a little less than a week after I had implants done, yet it was the tooth right next to the implants!! Dr Metzger took the initiative to return my phone call immediately, on a Sunday, and made arrangements to meet me at the office, as well as contacted dr santos on a weekend to let her know what was going on with me! The front desk called me before office even opened and got me in there Monday morning! After he examined the implants to make sure they were not compromised (or that they were not the issue), dr santos then found a way to rearrange her schedule to perform a full root canal on me! If not for dr santos (and linda) going out of their way (and missing lunch) to take care of me and get me out of pain, I dont know what I would have done!! To top it off, they took their time and did not rush through the procedure, especially when it came to needing extra novocaine to get the area numb! I truly believe that they care about their patients and have their patients best interest at heart. Dr santos is one of the most gentle, kind and caring persons/dentist I have encountered, and I have been to MANY dentists!! Lastly, she called me the next day to see how I was doing! I highly recommend this office!

I dont normally write reviews, but I felt I should let others who are seeking a new dentist know that your search may be over. I wanted a new dentist who was nearby and after reading tons of positive reviews, I decided to give Dental Designs of White Marsh a try. Im so glad that I did! *Everyone in the office is welcoming and they immediately put you at ease. *The office is immaculate and so modern. They even have a 3D printer that will make your crown while you wait, which saves you an extra trip back. *Ive been to Dr Weng a few times now and can say he is very professional, highly skilled, extremely patient, and explains everything in detail. Im very comfortable seeing him. *Aileen, my hygienist, is so nice! She does a very thorough job and never rushes through a cleaning. She gives great advice and answers any questions I might have. Thanks to her advice, the state of my teeth and gums has greatly improved. *The front desk is very helpful too. I dont have dental insurance, but they find a way to give me a discount. That helps quite a bit. I apologize if my review is a little long, but I wanted anyone who is thinking about going to this office know that you wont be disappointed. In fact, you might not hate going to dentist anymore. Thank you to everyone at Dental Designs at White Marsh!

I needed a new dentist since my last dentist past away. Dental designs took over his patients and I was worried about having a new dentist since I finally found a nice dentist after many tries of searching. A few weeks ago I had an appointment for both myself and my 2.5 year old son. The office is extremely clean and the people there are very welcoming. The beat part was they were very accepting of my busy bodied son who was into everything. They played with him, made him a rubber glove turkey (then he accidently popped it and then they made him a fish), brought him in a new seat to put in his corner, and even turned on a movie for him to watch in the room. I had to go back to have some work done and as soon as I go back they offer me either music through Alexa or something on Netflix. After I made a joke about taking a nap I was offered a pillow and a blanket! I have never been to a dentist office where the people were so nice and they actually make you feel right at home. This was actually the best dental experience I have ever had! I highly recommend Dental designs!

I found Dental Designs through my insurance carriers website. I live and work in the area so I searched for somewhere near by. They had great reviews so I made an appointment. The phone call to make an appointment was easy and informative. I received all of my paperwork in the mail to fill it out before the appointment. I was able to make an appointment within a little over a week. I was greeted warmly, the receptionist joked easily with me. The dental hygienest, Aileen, took me back before I even sat down. I barely had a chance to notice the Keurig and water bottles convenient available. Aileen gave me the grand tour. Its super high tech! Aileen was great and easy to talk to. She really took time to get to know me and shared about herself as well. She also gave me a lot of useful information about my teeth and what I should be doing. Dr. Santos came in and she was friendly and bubbly and informative. I loved that I never had to leave my chair for anything. It was a great experience. I would totally recommend them to family and friends.
