My family has been using Chesapeake Veterinary for many years for the care of our dogs and cats. All of the vets at this practice are so helpful and understanding when it comes to answering our many questions in the care of our pets, especially the questions concerning our aging Yorkie who requires special food and daily medication. The girls who work the front desk are wonderful. Always so attentive and polite and quick to ask the vets any questions we may have forgotten about during our appointment time. We especially like the reminder cards that arrive in the mail to remind us about upcoming tests for which our pets may be due. This is so helpful to us because our cat requires blood tests every six months as she has a thyroid condition. With the hectic lives we all seem to lead, these reminder cards are so convenient. The fact that the office sends out thank you emails for keeping our pets appointments, is also a very nice touch. Any time we have needed to contact one of the vets after hours, our calls have been answered very promptly. In our familys opinion, these vets are the best! We not only consider them our pets doctors, but we also consider them our friends.

I have been taking my fur-kids (dogs and cats) to Chesapeake (CVH) since 1993 and continue to be thankful for the compassion and care provided to the many animals we are/have been blessed to have as part of our family. As a volunteer and foster home for animal rescue and my ongoing excellent relationshp with the CVH team, the practice has embraced our rescue, and is now a preferred provider for families fostering dogs for our non-profit rescue. With multiple caring Vets and a fantastic support team, a wide variety of services, convenient hours, ability to secure appointments quickly, and reasonable pricing, you cant go wrong with CVH as your choice for veterinary care for your beloved fur-kids!

Great, caring staff. Sadly we spent far too much time there with our chronically ill dog but our visits were made as nice as possible due to the staff. We know each Dr very well and feel our dogs (and us) have always been treated very well. They have gone above and beyond for us several times since 1997 - meeting us at the hospital after hours to attend to an emergency. Just the sheer fact that they have a Dr always on call gives us such peace of mind. They dont price gouge you either as their pricing is fair and reasonable. We highly recommend.

Everyone at the office is fantastic. Ann Marie and Donna have always greeted us with a smile and have provided great service to us and our dogs. They have cared for our 6 dogs(3 living and 3 passed) since 1998. In addition they have given care to the many foster dogs we have had from City Dogs Rescue in DC and have always been professional and compassionate. Drs. Russell, Shaw, Busick and Dexter are great and have always provided the highest quality of care to all their patients.

Where do I start. I have been taking my pets here for over19 years. The vets and staff quickly became my friends and now I think of as family. They have helped me through some very tough times and I value their opinion as well as their brilliant minds.
