Very disappointed in the lack of communication today. I waited 45 minutes only to be told I would have to wait another 15 minutes with a smirk from the receptionist. I plan on taking action to notify social media and my insurance company of your incompetent practice. Not even a call of apology just we can reschedule!!!! Unlike you I work have an obligation to work tomorrow so with that being stated thanks for wasting my day and ensure you and your staff enjoy the time off!!!!! Below are some wonderful reviews about your service. I will let it be known!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Patsy K.09/01/2015 I wish I could give this place zero stars. Honestly the most incompetent dentist office I have ever been to. The doctor was sarcastic and did not do a full cleaning. The woman who flossed my teeth after the cleaning did not even finish flossing my bottom row of teeth. I was disappointed and offended by this practice and will not be returning. My wife has had to leave several appointments because they were so far behind. The worst part is they just let you sit there and dont say a word to you Un till an hour goes by past your appointment and you start complaining. I find that to be very unprofessional. I understand things happen... view more Like this review?Yes|Flag Abuse L G.03/04/2014 Although the male dentist and the staff at the front desk were extremely personable, I will not be returning to this dental office in the future. I scheduled my first appointment as an xray checkup and cleaning, only to find out once I was already there that they will not do both during one appointment, and I had to go back in for a second appointment for the actual cleaning. What?! Youre lucky to get people to go t... view more Like this review?Yes|Flag Abuse

I had called the practice describing my daughters problem, she had broken a molar and I felt it needed to be extracted. When we arrived the front desk staff was less than professional. Stating "good luck filling out the paperwork". Then we were led back to the exam area where an xray was taken of my daughters tooth. When the dentist entered the room he agreed that it would need to come out and he agreed to remove it then. After numbing her he felt in her mouth and she stated that she could still feel him poking around. He took the pliers and attempted to pull the tooth, she began to cry. He suggested laughing gas to calm her down. The doctor applied the mask and tried again, again she complained of pain. The doctor then rolled the chair back and said "Im going to tell you something that I should have told you in the beginning, you should see my wife, she is better with kids. I hate hurting young people and I dont want her to have a bad experience." Needless to say I left quite frustrated. I contacted another dentist the same day who saw my daughter and explained that she had not been properly numbed for the procedure. The second dentist was able to easily extract the bothersome tooth once she was properly numbed. I was extremely disappointed with my experience with Tyler and I would not recommend them to anyone else. If I could give them zero stars I would.

I recently visited Tyler Dental for the first time, and could not have been more pleased. Dr. Jeral Tyler was personable, approachable, informative, gentle, and thorough, as was the pleasant dental hygienist that assisted. Dr. Tyler took the time to get to know me prior to beginning the examination, which really put me at ease. I will recommend Tyler Dental to all of my friends and colleagues without reservation. Edited 4/5/17 I took my 2 year old daughter to Tyler dental yesterday for her very first appointment. I was blown away by how great the staff and Dr. Dawn Tyler were. They took a considerable amount of time to sooth my daughter and make sure her first dental experience was as pleasant and stress free as possible. Dr. Dawn Tyler really went above and beyond-- she sang to my daughter all during her cleaning, turning her from a sobbing mess into a giggling, happy child by the time she was finished. Im still in awe of how wonderful she was. I wish I could give Tyler Dental 10 stars instead of just 5.

I have been going Dr Tylers office for a couple of years after looking for an excellent Dentist. I am very particular due to the fact that I used to be a dental hygienist. I am a firm believer that your office staff can be very instrumental in whether your patients return as well. Dr Tylers office staff and Dr Tylers awesome personality as well as his professionalism and his up to date dental care and techniques are simply some of the indications to me that he takes pride in what he does. Mrs Tyler is a pediatric dentist and equally as dedicates. My husband even makes his own appointments and schedules his exams for preventative treatments and this is a man who I had to drag to a dentist. Needless to say that alone is a testament to the professionalism, care and awesome individuals at Tyler Dental. I recommend them to everyone I know. My ten year old also loves going there. He says "Dr Tyler has a great hand. I dont even feel the shots". This dental office and staff are AWESOME!

5 stars...well, how does one justify that? Ill tell you...not only are the staff friendly and professional, Dr. Tyler is an excellent dentist. Like most, a dentist visit can be an apprehensive ordeal. I had to get, what is called a DEEP CLEANING...which means needles in the gums...I am a real wimp when it comes to pain, but I must admit, Dr. Tyler did an amazing job...I barely felt any pain...that alone justifies the 5 stars in my book! But, not only am I giving the doctor and his staff the 5 stars, Im giving his business philosophy 5 stars as well...after my first visit, about a week later I received a very nice thank you note...and then, believe it or not, a birthday card as well. Tyler Dental is top notch! I give them my FULL recommendation and TWO THUMBS UP!

Needing a new dentist I researched a number in the Southern Md area. The Tyler practice looked interesting. They are in their own building in Dunkirk, across from the Suntrust Bank...with ample parking. The waiting area is nice, with a small refrig with drinks, and a coffee machine. The admin staff are through the door, and a number of dental stations nearby. All are friendly, courteous, and helpful. The dental staff are patient and skilled. After lots of visits for a variety of procedures I certainly plan on continuing with them....

Ive had very good experiences at Dr. Tylers office. Both doctors are very nice and most of all patient with me. I had a few bad experiences with other offices and due to my anxiety from that I sometimes need a little extra time with certain appointments and the doctors and staff are always willing to go the extra to make my visits as comfortable as possible. Thanks to all the staff for this. I now look forward to my visits knowing Im being taken care of by a very experienced team.
