I dont know how many pitbulls you currently treat, but Im going to go out on a limb and say none, when my dog was extremely sick and only had a few days to live (if her pus filled uterus were to burst) you denied to see her saying you dont accept new patients when you have treated my families other pets in the past. Its people like you that give pitbulls a bad name. Mine is the most loving, smart, and docile dog that i have ever met, and luckily for me I found a vet without predjudice in time before I lost a loving companion of mine forever. I am sure you have treated many animals who have been aggresive toward humans or animals in the past and didnt know it just because it was never reported. All animals deserve the same treatment and pitbulls are some of the kindest most loving family dogs there are. Just because the press jumps on the rare (yes rare, it only seems more often because pitbulls are targeted the most) attack and makes it a big deal should not hinder someone in your profession from treating any type animal. If your grandfather attacked a man who had tried to hurt you and got sick but the doctor had read that your grandfather was aggressive and liked to fight and denied him treatment in his time of need, and god forbid your grandfather died as a result, how would you feel. My dog has never attacked anyone or anything or even tried and yet she could have died because you denied her treatment, now how does being predjudice feel. You should treat all animals as they need to be treated, and should know that they are loved ones too. I am giving you a terrible rating on this alone, and if I hadnt found a decent respectable vet to save my dog this may not have been the worse outcome you would have recieved. Human anguish fueled aggression is something you should be more worried about than a stigma given to a species of animal by the press!

Wonderfully friendly , happy people. Dr. Murphy is semi retired so basic services. He knows his business and is great with my new dog. Knows large animals, too. Reasonable prices.
