Staff and hospital were both great and I was/ still am hospitalized for several days.(as of 8/20/17) Everyone seemed to want the best for me and were professional in their actions, while being friendly. I just saw a review listed here from this week that was very bad, the review had very negative comments about the staff wanting you to let you die. I was here and am still at hospital 8/20/17 and I saw the girl that left that review (I heard her name) when I was downstairs. The girl, not the staff was terrible. This lady/girl was VERY RUDE and very ghetto. Cursing people out indirectly why talking on the phone very loudly, so staff could hear her, etc. I was so emabarrassed to even be in the same place with her. That girl is clearly not from Harford County because we dont treat, or talk to people like that here, especially people that are there to help us. You can see the negative review I am referencing, by just looking at reviews the same week as mine. My family and I both heard this girl being so ignorant and rude that we couldnt believe it. Almost as if she thought she was the only one there that was sick. Do not let her review sway you. Reviews should be constructive even if not flattering. Her review was just like her, rude, ghetto and an embarrassment to our race and she should take her attitude back to the city! What a surprise, a look at her other reviews and practically everyone was just as rude and and negative, which confirms she is the one with the problem and attitude. (Not all people from Baltimore city are rude like her FYI)

So my friend tells me that she is at Harford Memorial Hospital. Since she lives in Harford County I assume that this is the place. I call to confirm and am told after several minutes of looking that there is no one by that name. The person is trying to be helpful, so he asks me what she is there for. I explain in a vague way to avoid passing on personal information why my friend is there and the next thing I know, Im transferred to a different department. I can only guess by how the phone is answered that it is a person at a nurses station. When I explain what is going on Im told in a condescending tone that they cannot give out information about patients while stating it is HIPAA regulations. When I tell her that I know about it, since I worked at Medicare for 35 years, I am told "Then you should know that sir". I thanked the person and hung up...All I wanted was to find out if my friend was in that hospital before I drove the hell up to that podunk hospital!

Id give it a 0 in stars if I could. Came in with excruciating pain due to a bad reaction with my medication, Ive been sitting in the waiting room for 2 hours since having my vitals taken, after I told the nurse I had bad liver issues. I really hope nothing is extremely wrong with anyone here because theyre going to die before they get seen by someone. This is the slowest ER Ive ever been to, and so far my experience has been asinine. It took them 5 minutes to find the desk clerk at 11 pm. Ridiculous. Worst ER experience. Even if you live close, do NOT come to the ER of you have an emergency. What a waste of time.

Well, my first time here, it took forever to be seen, and I had a severe anxiety attack. Waiting in the room, when I was seen, I didnt want to be there anymore. So, I asked the nurse if I can be discharged from the hospital. She kept saying to me "When the doctor comes in and gives you a diagnoses". Well hours later, I just told her "look, Im way over 18. Let me go now." She gave me a death glare and gave me an attitude, and told me no. Okay. I felt fine. After all that waiting, the doctor gave me a diagnoses that no one thought I had. So they are false people, who need to go back to medical school!

ER staff was great, but the ER looks tired and so conjested. Glad to get out of it! Inpatient rooms, however, are so much better if you get a private room. Ceilings in the hallways are an old mess of hanging tiles... Ugh.. and carpets look old too. Overall... Needs a really good refresh. Staff is wonderful all around and the food is really good. Never had an issue with the staff at all. Attending doctor was nice too.

I went there in an ambulance and was in real bad shape due an Ecoli infection. They did the right thing. After checking the culture in 48 hours and prescribing the right antibiotic, I was good in a few days. Really in bad shape and possibly wouldnt make it. Why 4 stars? Its the only way I could explain that while many of the nurses and attendants were great, there were a few who needed to have people skills.

Inattentive nurses, theyre so rude and unfriendly. They literally do not care about human lives. My grandfather was here, and every time we asked them to turn him in the bed or to empty his catheter they acted like we were bothering them. These people are in the wrong field because they have no empathy whatsoever. They only come to work for the money. Its such a shame.

The wait time was maybe 2 minutes. After I was taken back to be seen, literally in tears from pain, we couldnt find anyone to get a blanket, or to find out what was going on with my tests. Not happy with staff, or there lack of.

The wait time is too long , When you first get there a triage nurse will see you asap , Once that happens your on your own , The staff very very unfriendly and rude

Slow lines always a crowd. Has had steady improvement of service by staff over the years. Good for smaller issues. Better than upper cheasapeake in bel air
