Dr. Mattson was awesome and very personable. However, I can only rate this practice 2 stars as the office staff is not honest. I was told when I called that the office accepts my insurance and that Dr. Mattson was within my network. The office manager at the time gave me the cost of my responsibility and what my benefit plan would cover after contacting them. Now I am getting bills for over $600 after paying almost $700 or more. After speaking to the office manager at the time she stated "oh you are not in network that is why". I am like are you serious at this point I asked before making an appointment if the office accepted my insurance and was Dr. Mattson within my network and after checking she said yes. At this point I am disappointed, upset and discourage that a dentist office would lie to get patients and then attempt to put them into a financial bind less longer collections. This is terrible business for such a great dentist. This office has definitely lost my trust, recommendations for new patients and my business.

I called to make an appointment for new patient cleaning. I made sure my insurance would cover and the receptionist said yes. My appointment was at 11:30. I confirmed my appointment by texting. They still called me multiple times even after i confirmed. I got there at 11:15 and filled out all my paper works. Its 11:45 and i was still waiting. Seriously? So i asked the receptionist about the flyer that i got "new patients will get a free sonicare toothbrush with presenting this flyer. She said i had to pay $99 service fee in order to get a free toothbrush? Where does it say? And dr mattson is not contracted with many insurance companies so now i have to pay out of pocket. My insurance should cover 100% for cleaning and exam twice year. They did not explain a single thing and now i wasted my precious time. So annoying!!!!! Oh yeah i want to add more. This lady i assume she is either an assistant or a hygienist keeps coming in their reception area with her mask and that bothers me.

Avoid at all cost!!!!! No pun intended. This place is extremely expensive. Not only this they assume you want a credit (dental credit) when you pay to much because they make you have a deposit (a substantial one) before doing anything. My insurance payed most of it so I had a huge refund, which I never got because they assumed I wanted a credit. In the state of Maryland that is actually illegal. They cant assume you dont want the money back. I am sure the Maryland department of licensing is going to love to hear about that. Dr. Mattson is very nice though and does a good job. In general, I had no problem with the services I was getting, however I am leaving because of the incompetence and in my opinion fraud of the practice.

Dr. Mattson is GREAT! She has been my dentist for over 12 years. I broke my front teeth as a child and Dr. Mattson performed a smile make-over on my front teeth and replaced all my old silver fillings with white ones. I get compliments from everyone I meet, and I even had an orthodontist say it was the best dental work she had ever seen! The new Diamond Dental office is beautiful, clean, and high tech. I have recommended many friends and family members to Dr. Mattson--some even travel from other states to see her! A++

I had a root canal done and like most people, Ive heard horror stories about the procedure. I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome. There was zero pain during the procedure. Dr Mattson explained what was going to happen during and as she did everything. I also did not experience any pain in the days to follow. This was actually the easiest procedure Ive had done. Dr Mattson and her staff are amazing. They know you by face and theyre so friendly. I highly recommend her to everyone!

I broke a tooth at work after eating an almond. I called Diamond Dental and was given courteous responses to my inquiries as well as the availability of an immediate appointment. After meeting with Dr. Mattson, it was determined that a bonding agent was necessary to fill and cosmetically enhance the front bottom broken tooth. With skillful hands and no pain what so ever, I left within a half an hour with a whole tooth once again. Thank you Dr. Mattson and staff!

Dr. Mattson is phenomenal! Her bedside manner is second to none. You will never be rushed through an appointment or leave with unanswered questions (and she explains things in laymans terms!). Not only do I trust her with my dental care but I also entrust her with the care of my autistic son. Dr. Mattson is so patient and understanding - she truly goes above and beyond for the care of her patients and makes you feel like family.

I never write reviews but felt compelled to do so after my second root canal with Doc. Mattson. I traveled almost 2 hrs to get my second root canal done because of how she took care of the first one. I am the biggest baby when it comes to dentists but Doc Mattson and staff puts you at ease. She very well may be the best dentist on this planet!! Its like mom did the work on me (not saying she is old) but you get the idea.

I have been going to Dr. Mattson for over 10 years! She turns dental work into a work of art. All of her fillings fit perfect the first time. No need for adjustment! She gives you all your options and lets you decide what is best for you. While in her office, she makes you feel you like family. I highly recommend her for the quality of her work and her knowledge of good dental practices and the most updated techniques.

I had a dental emergency and they were able to get me in on a Saturday and take care of me. I get very bad anxiety when going to the dentist and they were very patient with me, going above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and ease my concerns. The whole staff was extremely nice and caring and made the whole process easy for me. I highly recommend them!

Im an enormous fan of this place. I always leave feeling like I was in good hands. Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Mattson is a complete expert and knows so much. She actually really educated me. My hygienist, a young guy in his 20s, was incredibly nice and really taught me a lot. Theyre also so quick here! Im very satisfied.

WONDERFUL STAFF! I followed Dr. Mattson to her new practice from my old dental office. She is fantastic and worth an hour drive. Dr. Mattson has been my dentist for 5 years and I plan on seeing her until she retires. She is so gentle and explains everything in detail. Very compassionate, full of knowledge and always smiling...LOVE HER!!!!

This was my first visit to Dr. Mattson. Her office and equipment was state of the art. Her staff was very welcoming and friendly. Dr. Mattson was more informative than any other dentist i have been to in 50 years! She was very gentle and attentive to me as the patient.
