Started taking my children here when they were 4 and 2 1/5. The nurses thought it was pointless to bring a 2.5 year old. I was offended by the comments. I still continued to bring them for 2 years. I finally hit my frustration. They do not make parents feel welcome in the back area. They have not been able to get clear x-rays on them. I think explaining what they are going to do would be helpful for little ones not to be scared. But, the straw breaker for me was the same as the previous poster. We had a emergency during office hours an was not able to get anything but recordings on all 8 options, including trying "0" and the hospital appointment line. How can you trust a dentist, let alone have any desire to use them if you can not get through during a emergency or get an emergency number from them. I called a different dentist, and had an appointment the next morning. Be warned this dentist is not kid friendly, the waiting room is dirty and has limited toys, and if your a minute late your cell phone is ringing wondering where you are.

Valley Dental Associates has a great staff....they have always been friendly and accommodating to my needs. My first time there was a dental emergency, (I did have an actual first visit appointment but the emergency cropped up before that) and they quickly booked me and expedited the procedures I would need. They send out electronic reminders of your appointments, and Ive felt comfortable with the dentists and dental hygienist. I appreciate their service.

Son broke a tooth at school from someone tripping him in the halls. Called the dentist and went through every option multiple times over the coarse of an hour trying to reach someone. Not once did we manage to get through. Went to our doctor who also tried to call them and wasnt able to get through either. Definitely finding a new dentist for our family. An emergency comes up during office hours and cant even get ahold of anyone!

Dr Gorman has an excellent bedside manner. Always pleasant. I lost contact with him after he left the practice he used to work at. I would have surely followed him. Im superspenderlous happy...lol, that I have found him. I have always trusted him, he settles my fears about being in the dentist chair. I love Dr, Gorman and his professionalism and work is superb and above board. Come on to Owings Mills to see him...never one regret!!

I had an emergency situation which needed immediate attention. At the time I didnt have insurance or a doctor. All of which was taken on my first to Valley Dental. I signed up for insurance as well as scheduled visits for dental care. Aside from that the parking was inadequate and not enough handicap spots. The location is close by the main road and a traffix light at the corner. Its not too from my home.

I have visited Valley Dental Associates 4 times in 2 months after not seeing a dentist for about 5 years. From consultation to cleaning to a crown and fillings, I am very pleased with not only the work done but patient treatment. Everyone was friendly and caring. They hire great people and I would highly recommend going here. Dr. Oppenheim is friendly, always helpful, and explains treatments very clearly.

The only reason Im giving 2 stars instead of a 0 is b/c we love the hygienists, Matt and Brianna. They do an amazing job and are always super pleasant. The office staff makes constant mistakes with appointments and does not inform the patient prior to arrival or at check in. Find out error after waiting and asking why the wait! Used to be a great office, but its gone downhill for years.

I think theres a myth about how root canals used to be awful, because I got one done here and it was completely painless and without complications. I went right to work after it, I was just numb. Everyone here is incredibly friendly, and the doctor was making jokes the whole time to make the time fly. If you have to have a root canal, do it here.

We love valley dental dr booker madr my daughter not afraid of dentists anymore after comeing from a previous dentist that scared her she loved that dr booker sang to her and she was also in a dental magizine wiyh dr booker we would still be going there except we lost the insurance ee had and they dont take what we have. Be sure you know your own insurance. We were told our portion of a procedure would be ~ $200.00. Turned out to be over $900.00 because of insurance limitations. I expect a medical office staff to give me correct information. We could have broken the procedure over 2 calendar years. Instead, what I consider their failing cost us $700.00.

This is the most comforting place to go. I have hated going to the dentist/doctors appointments but ever since I started coming here, I can now look forward to the visit. Always nice people and gentle. I cant handle pain and they work with me to make sure I will be okay. Best dental office ever.

Excellent treatment from every staffer...from beginning to end. This is a great group of professionals in every position! Dr. Oppenheim has a "chair-side" manner that I only wish every Medical Professional had. To say the least, I am very impressed with my experience at Valley Dental.

My cleaning experience with Sophia was awesome. She was very gentle and also explained the various conditions I need to take care of during my daily cleaning. Excellent front office staff to accommodate me even though I was running late by few minutes.

Allan- Sept.1,2011 Outstanding staff ,(friendly and caring) but most of all Dr.Gorman understanding ,listens to his patient and he does a outstanding work on my teeth. Highly recommended. Note= 3 crowns ,not a single problem. Great job Doc.
