I first tried chiropractic care a few years ago to undo what I did to my collarbone while moving band equipment. Dr Jess identified the problem, made the proper adjustment and followed up with care, offering ideas (besides hiring a roadie) to make performances safer. "AMA," I have not hired a roadie, thereby necessitating additional appointments for my back and shoulder. Pain medication has its uses; but the proper adjustment to an out-of-whack back is worth the visit and can obviate the need for pills.
