This is a FANTASTIC practice. My family has been taking our beloved pets to this practice for many many years. We have always been treated with great respect and our pets have been cared for so well. I have brought all of my fur family members here for many years and cannot speak highly enough of how they have been treated. Two of my pets have had very special needs (a diabetic/insulin dependent cat and a wheelchair bound one-eyed frenchie) and have never doubted the treatment plans and greatly appreciated the high level of customer service. The new practice owner has made extensive improvements that I have found very helpful. They have a strong web presence and have embraced email reminders and announcements, which I find very helpful. The hours of operation are simple and clearly defined on the building and the website. One area that needed no improvement is the wonderful staff. The women who manage the front desk and the phones and scheduling are TOP NOTCH and I have been so blessed to have their support during very difficult transactions (end of life, serious decision-making, etc.). (Huge note of thanks to Debbie and Stephanie for their kindness through the years). The technicians and doctors are beyond reproach. I value the time and thoughtful care that they have given to me and all of my pets and cannot thank them enough (Barb, Denise, Dr. Flessas, Dr. Johnston and Dr. Cloherty..... so grateful). As the practice grows and evolves, I am truly impressed with each improvement/enhancement and each new person I meet is dedicated, responsible and continues to make me and my pets feel like valued members of this community. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.....

The tech who helped the vet was wonderful. My wife took my cat there because I felt that he was loosing a lot of weight. The veterinarian was very condescending and didnt listen to her when she was trying to explain my cats history. They trimmed my cats claws with out asking me. They performed an action that wasnt life saving with out her permission. When she asked them how much it would cost and pricing they did not explain anything until it was time to pay. Personally I have been to multiple vet offices and after hearing this story I will never take any of my animals back to this hospital. Dont take your pets here.

The new owner and vet, Daphne Flessas is a joy to deal with!!!!! She is an excellent vet, knowledgeable, caring and willing to listen to your concerns and ideas regarding your pet....she did surgery on one of my older dogs and she came through with flying colors and healed quickly. Dr. Flessas called when the surgery was finished and then again the next day to check on her....The front desk staff and the vet techs are so welcoming to you and clearly love the animals that come into the office....loving greetings to them all....All my experiences have been wonderful...

The staff is wonderful! Very friendly and professional! Ive never had to wait more than a couple minutes after my appointment time. They are very gentle with the handling of our dogs. I also like the fact that they call us, the day after an appointment where vaccinations have been given or a visit made due to a concern we may have, to be sure our pup is ok. Their office is always clean and free of strong animal smells. I strongly recommend Acton Animal Hospital?

Saw Dr. Geissert years ago and not a fan at all, but glad I stayed with the facility - which is very clean, receptionist super nice, staff all friendly (other than Geissert). I highly recommend Dr. Maria Cloherty. Really friendly and great with my cats. She took the time to explain things and listened well. She also discussed things to look out for as the cats age, etc. She was really informative without talking down. Dr. Cloherty is great!

Great vets, techs and office staff. Everyone working there greets my Sophie and her people with open arms every time we walk in. Competent care provided; always willing to answer any questions; online medical records system that we can access from home. They are also always willing to print off any records that I want to pick up. Weve been very happy with the care at Acton Animal Hospital; highly recommend!

Acton Animal Hospital is a wonderful place to take your fur-babies. They are incredibly polite, kind, comforting, genuine, and truly love all animals. Each time we go, anything from getting a microchip for our new kitten to a check up, they remember us, as well as our pets. Weve shared laughs, as well as tears. We highly recommend Acton Animal Hospital for so many reasons.

I agree, the owner is very condescending though I would like to think she does not intend to come off this way. I recommend taking your animal directly to Westford Animal Hospital. They have more advanced care and better reviewer experiences. I will say my experience with the two other doctors at this clinic have been very positive.

Acton Animal Hospital has a caring professional staff, clean bright office, reasonable pricing, fast response to sick puppy needs.
