I have been going to this office for 2 to 3 years. My last visit was for one filling in one tooth. Never mind that this filling was not done properly, was left with a very sharp edge that ended up cutting my tongue, and has given me problems every day since. I then received an invoice for the entire remaining amount due, minus my deductible paid during my visit, with a note saying that my insurance company had declined coverage. When I checked into this issue, I found out that they had not only billed the wrong insurance policy but the wrong insurance company entirely! When I pointed this out to the office, I provided them with the correct insurance information yet again. They then decided to Bill my insurance company three separate times for having completed two fillings in the same tooth. My insurance company would not cover this improper billing and paid the portion necessary leaving a balance. I have been disputing this balance with the office staff since receiving the first invoice several months ago. They continue to send me incorrect medical billing invoices for prior visits, then send me medical billing invoices showing only partial payment from me with no receipt from the insurance company, then finally send me the correct medical billing invoice but still reflecting two fillings in one tooth. Now I am receiving phone calls from collection agencies looking for double the amount that was last billed to me. This office should be ashamed of themselves! I have never had this problem with any other dental office. The front office people when you point out their errors, are extremely rude, insulting and belligerent. I will never be going to this office again and highly recommend others to steer clear!

It seems like a nice professionally run place. Nice people. But man, they are aggressive when it comes to x-rays. My dental plan covers two cleanings per year. So I go to Watkins Dental and I had to have x-rays. I just wanted the cleaning. But they took x-rays and billed me $100.00. They made my second "cleaning" a month later. They said I needed more x-rays. Well what happened the x-rays I took the first time? I refused the x-rays and had to leave because I refused the x-rays. I called a dentist in Fitchburg and asked how much for a cleaning if I pay in cash. They said $70.00 plus a few extra perks. I called back Watkins Dental and was quoted $300.00 for a cleaning if I paid cash. Wow! All I wanted was a cleaning from my dental plan.

I came to Dr. Watkin out of desperation after nearly all the dental work I had done by other dentist failed my mouth that was a mess. Dr. Watkin was so nice and carefully outlined what I had for options to correct and restore my mouth. I am happy to say that now after many visits my mouth is whole again and everything feels great. I am a patient with very high anxiety when it comes to getting impressions and basically anything that is put in my mouth. Alison, Dr. Watkins long-time dental assistant could not have been more compassionate and tolerant. She made my visits a lot better. If you need dental work, I highly recommend Watkin Dental.

The dentists are overbooked and only have a few minutes to do the bare minimum. After waiting half an hour in the chair, the dentist storms in and asked me if I had any issues, spent 30 seconds looking at my teeth, then stormed out.The dental hygienists do a great job though. I also received a bill for nearly $2000 for dental work done 2 years ago. I dont have records that far back to check how much I paid at the time. I just went a head and paid the bill, and now I will watch things very closely and follow up on every bill.

They dont do their jobs right I have been to many dentist never had any complications had a root canal about 3 months ago still am waiting for them to give me a crown. Have been going almost once every week for 2 months now, each time supposed to be for a crown however it always turns out something "went wrong" and i have to take new impressions each time just to get the same ole temporary tooth put back on. Not to mention, after I get in the chair I sit there for a half hour while the dentists go deal with other patients

Doctor Watkin and his staff are very professional and experienced. They are also reasonable in pricing when compared to those practicing the same techniques in New Hampshire. Some of his staff has worked there for over 20 years (how long I have been seeing Dr. Wien (retired) and Dr. Watkin). This is a sign of good management and work conditions. Doctor Watkin is always developing and testing new technology with the intent to make his practice state of the art, with a good deal of success.

Look close at the user profile and you will see the good reviews are put up by the same person. These people are selfish crooks. Instead of referring me to someone who has time to see me they just keep refilling my pain meds. They want me to have all kinds of other work done before they will fix a broken tooth that hurts me. Great place to go if you want vicodin or percs. If you have insurance they will really load you up with the drugs. They need to be investigated.

I am 61 and have had many dentists. Dr Watkin and his entire staff are clearly the best Ive ever used -- and Ive had some very good dentists. All the health professionals are top notch and nice people. They explain options, what they need to do and why. They are quick in execution. Their followup is very good. I cant say enough good things about this practice. My family and I have been a loyal customers for over 12 years.

The office is new, start of the art, and clean. Everyone was very friendly and personable. I went for a cleaning and everything went smoothly. I went back to have 2 cavities filled and was quoted $175. I paid the quote and a week later received another bill for over $250, thats in addition to the $175 I had already paid. Being off a little on a quote would be understandable but an additional $250?? No way. Wont be back.

Very convenient, very professional, extremely informative if you have questions and always fast responses to inquiries. The staff is above helpful and the hygienists are terrific! Dr. Watkin is an amazing individual who takes his time personally with patients in need of special circumstances such as I was. My wife and children are also patients of this establishment and are all pleased with the care were given!

Every person at this office is skillful and kind. I travel quite a distance to get the specialized care from Dr. Watkin. It is well worth the trip. Dr. Watkin clearly explains all of ones options and is sensitive to financial limitations. When he is working on my mouth I always know that I am in good hands. I also know that he will avoid causing pain and is honest about the amount of pain if some is necessary.

I had a cleaning done by Katie and am very pleased. Through the whole procedure she checked to make sure I was comfortable and that there were no issues. I was given a pair of glasses to protect my eyes from flying water. My normal doctor was not available, but was checked by Dr. May and found him to be very personable and gentle. I would not hesitate to recommend Watkin Dental to anyone.
