There are a number of things I do not like about this Dr. You walk in and the front desk fawn over certain people and dont acknowledge everyone walking in, which would be deemed more professional. If they are listing themselves as open during certain times, they should have people answering their phones then and should then be open. If Dr. August is going to cancel my appointment for being 5 mins late, she should apologize for walking in to my appt 45 mins late and knock on the door and not barge into the exam room, which is bad. It doesnt set a good example for her staff either. She keeps you waiting and cant get out of the exam room fast enough. She should not announce things out loud in front of her nurses about how I keep myself trimmed - tacky. Not very professional at all. ALSO, her staff should be better versed on the insurance and letting people know if they are out of network or not and then I ended up getting bills for lab work because they sent stuff out to another OUT OF NETWORK provider, they should know that when they call my insurance in. No, your waiting room looks like a garage sale with mismatched furniture, it is not something to take too much pride in.

Very rude receptionist, I was going to be a first time patient I was calling to schedule an appointment, first the receptionist speaks with attitude and when I tell her I dont have my insurance card with me I can hear her talking with somebody else, " these people call a doctors office and dont even have their insurance card. " Very disrespectful. I will look for another Dr. Never calling that office again.

Reception staff was warm and welcoming. Dr August is the kindest dr Ive EVER had dealings with in my life. And Im a senior citizen, so Ive visited my share. Couldnt be more pleased.
