Extremely friendly staff, the receptionists, the owner, doctors, technicians, e-v-e-r-y single person, I LOVE them all <3 I have never felt so comfortable and welcomed. My fur-babies have been so fearful of the vet over the years, but now that I have taken them here, they actually felt comfortable and were relaxing like they were at home. They spend quality time with you and your pet, all questions are addressed. Everything is explained in great detail so that you understand exactly what is going on. The examining rooms are so inviting, no cold tables, little couches, painted cat pictured/scenic walls and nice wood floors. You also get to go back with your cat, which is what I have always wanted to do, but have never been allowed. I think it is nice to go back to be an added comfort for your kitty. Everyone there loves cats and is very comfortable with them and really, really know how they tick, I love it!! SO, if you have a cat and want first class loving care, I highly recommend this lovely place! Thank you all at "The Cat Practice", I miss you already! They are simply the best. When I moved to SE Michigan, I tried the recommendations of friends for a vet but was not satisfied. My vet in Chicago (who Id been with for 17 years and is one of the best there) recommended Dr. Houlihan. Are they a bit more expensive? Sure, but worth every penny. When it comes to the care of our furry family members, it simply isnt worth it to budget shop, if you can help it. These are all "cat people" here...every one of them and I trust them absolutely. I will never take my babies anywhere else for their primary care.

The Cat Practice is the only place we trust to care for our current five cats and all the ones that have come before. They truly care for their clients and their cats. The doctors, techs, and staff are knowledgeable, helpful, and willing to go above and beyond to help. They are VERY expensive and that is the one drawback. We have discussed moving to another vet several times to save money, but each time the subject comes up we conclude that were just not comfortable with them going anywhere else. The care they receive here is just second to none.

My first visit exceeded my expectations. My cat Picasso was quite difficult to say the least, but the doctor and all of her staff were so genuinely nice and concerned. The tech Michele was patient and compassionate with our fussy feline. Dr. Larsen was very professional and had a very kind and respectful demeanor about her. She was very thorough and answered all of our questions. The atmosphere at this clinic is very warm and cozy. You immediately feel welcome when you walk through their clinic door. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone!

Weve been clients of The Cat Practice for over 30 years&rarely had a complaint. Dr. Houlihan is an exceptional vet with many years of cat medicine experience. Shes been looking after our many furry felines since her graduation from MSU vet school. They know cays inside&out& go tje distance to make&keep them healthy. 14 cats cant be wrong!

The staff at The Cat Practice is excellent. The hours are fantastic and they dont charge extra for weekend appointments. I love taking my kitty to a practice that only takes care of cats. The follow up is great after they see your cat for a sick visit. The vet always calls to check within a few days. Cant recommend them more.
