As of recently after two nearly consecutive visits, I can say with certainty I will no longer be returning to this establishment. They have lost my business as well as my friends and familys, and there are multiple reasons for this. I have brought my dog here since he was a puppy, but it seems the conditions & behavior towards clients has become progressively worse. The receptionists are blatantly rude- I stood in front of the desk for several minutes without anyone so much as looking at me until one of them reluctantly stepped forward to help me; she was clearly agitated that her coworkers had neglected to do so. This was followed by a visit with a doctor that was cold & stern, she proceeded to tell me that my dog could potentially lose his vision completely with no emotion or sympathy, in fact she seemed to be rushed & answered any questions I had condescendingly. Furthermore, wait time is excessive. Unless you know a doctor or nurse by name & have some type of pre-established rapport, you can expect to be helped after those who arrive after you, & you will be waiting for no less than 45 minutes- & thats if youre lucky. A simple check up here can take upwards of 3 hours. I was also incorrectly charged and when I returned to address the issue I was spoken to in a volatile manner by a woman who openly scolded her coworkers in front of my self as well as several others of us standing in the lobby. The behavior towards the guests & pets alike is absolutely unacceptable, I do not pay hundreds of dollars to be disrespected & have my dog handled carelessly by staff that dont seem to want to be there let alone deal with anyone or their animals. With such outrageous treatment and poor service, I feel its necessary to notify potential clients in order to hopefully prevent others from experiencing a similar agony. Also as a final note, sanitation of the facility should be improved tremendously.

My experience here as been wonderful. Ive been bringing my cats here for a little over a year, and the vets Ive seen so far (Drs. Lusn, Carter, Core, and Decker) have been amazing. They are knowledgeable, personable, supportive, reassuring, and very understanding of pet owners anxiety, even when the anxiety is at times irrational. They also explain things in very clear and understandable terms. My 13 year-old cat had to be hospitalized twice (pancreatitis and partial urethral obstruction), and each time he was well cared for. The staff allowed me into the treatment area to see where he would be staying and give me time to say goodbye to him before I left. The doctors always explained treatment costs up front, before anything was actually performed. The staff Ive encountered have been good as well, with the exception of one very rude receptionist. I brought my 7 year-old cat in for a checkup because he hadnt been seen by a vet in 3 years. When I explained I wanted a checkup but declined to have any vaccinations performed, this receptionist very rudely said, "If youre not getting vaccines, then why are you here?" But if I hadnt brought him in, I wouldnt have known that he had gingivitis and needed dental care! Dr. Decker was very understanding when I explained this encounter and reassured me that its good to bring cats in periodically to monitor their weight and dental health.

This is my second time regretting going to Gasow the woman at the from desk was super rude and had such an attitude and made me wait 45 min to pick up my dog from the groomers even when there was no one else in line. When I finally got my dog back from the groomers they brought out my dog with a bandana which I thought was a nice gesture. However when we got home my dog was acting really weird didnt want to be petted or touched so I took off the bandana and under it was a hand size razor burn from the groomers getting to close. So I began to look around on the dog and found 4 more razor burns. One was on his chest, one was behind his legs and another under his stomach. Instead of them letting me know that they screwed up and made mistakes they tried to cover the mistake with a bandana around his neck and they charged me full price for the hair cut. This is the second times this has happened to our family’s dog I dont recommend going to this place for any person or animal. They will rip you off with prices and they do a very bad job on the animal, who knows how they treat them in the back. Plus the people in there are beyond rude. Horrible experience they need to run out of business.

AWFUL!!!!! This is my first time there. This is the worst experience of my life please dont EVER SEND UR CAT THERE, they ABUSE the animals. My persian cat named buster went there for a simple grooming, ( he was groomed by Monica) when I went to pick him up she handed him to in in a carrier. So when I got home I took him out of it and relized that he was COMPLETELY BUTCHERED his fur was soooo uneven and short even though I told them I wanted the teddy bear cut and he just looked awful, but thats not even the worst part I also relized that THEY SHAVED HIS WHISCARS OFF, the Whiscars on the top of his heard were COMPLETELY GONE, and the Whiscars on the side of him were very short, and common sense will tell ANYONE that if you cut a cats Whiscars it cause them to feel dizzy, unbalanced, and frightened. My cat is usually full of energy and very playful but right now he is going through pain and is suffering and just isnt the same. They will be hearing from my attorney VERY SOON

This vet is horrible. I will never be going back here for anything cause Ive given them plenty of chances! The receptionists are slow, they take down information incorrectly and if you have too much that you need them to do they get irritated (this has happened to me twice now)! Nobody tells you what anything costs up front. So before you know it youve spent way more than you were wanting to get normal things done for your animal. It doesnt help that they are already over-priced. Save your money and your time and go to a different vet. There are way better ones out there.

This place is awful. Front desk staff is rude, and the last time I brought my dog in she was in really bad shape and they refused to see her because another family member in my household (although we are on separate accounts) owed money from a previous treatment. Even though they saw how bad my dog looked, they still refused to help her. Zero compassion at this place, but if you want a great clinic with very polite and helpful staff who actually care and will help, I highly recommend Kimball Animal Hospital in Clawson.

Ive been taking my two dogs and three cats here since we moved to north Royal Oak in 2012. Ive never had a problem of any kind. Theyve worked with me on payment plans when my dog slashed her paw open and had to have an expensive operation as well as other times. I have a reactive German Shepherd and they let me wait in the car with her, then bring her in the back way. Every vet Ive seen has been thorough, knowledgeable, and friendly as are the rest of the staff. Highly recommend.
